    Good golf balls

These balls have great durability with soft feel around green’s also long off the tee buying more when I lose these.

  2. Dano

    I love my balls.

These balls are great. Round and firm. I carry two of them, but hope I never lose one. Glad I chose these as my balls. I like playing with them. And no, you cannot play with my balls. Get your own.

Ball is on the dead side. Not enough distance when hit well

Nice soft touch feel! Love the texture

I love these pink balls they are a nice touch for women’s golf clubs can’t wait to try them out !

  6. Dean Meucci

    Matte finish golf balls

These are matte finish golf balls they appear to have the harder shell, but they are not. They are matte finish.

    Forgiveness

Forgiveness is what some golfers ask for on the golf course. This ball gives you that! I have been using these for three years now. They are perfect for the golfer that enjoys the game but hates losing their balls. Hitting this ball you are able to drive it far but at the same time your swing feels comfortable. It is something you need to experience.

    Feels like butter

Great looking ball that feels super soft on contact with the clubface. For me, longer off the tee than a ProV1 by 12-15 yards and a lot of “bounce” in the initial landing. Iron shots feel a little shorter in distance and they don’t seem to get quite as much check on the greens (but in all fairness our greens are very firm right now). Overall it’s a solid ball a very soft feel.

Excellent Callaway golf ball for beginners or advanced players

I purchased these balls to use in cooler weather in the fall and it performs extremely well with great feel when the cooler mornings are present in late fall. I’m a 4 handicap and compress the ball very well with average drives in the 270 yard plus range. I usually hit a taylormade tp5 but actually perform the feel of these over the Taylor made balls. I purchased the matte green balls and they’re easy to find in the leaves and especially deeper rough. Highly recommend these.

Cute but not good for putting

I like the look. Easy to find. But not so good for putting.

    Good ball for the price

I bought these balls because of the positive reviews and because I was tired of losing $4 balls in the woods. I also liked the color because it is unique and it truly stands out (at least at the courses I play). I am currently a 15 handicap and I have a very average swing speed for my age (55) of around 95 to 100 mph. The main pro of this ball to me is the price, so if you tend to lose a lot of balls this is a great choice. On the other hand, don’t expect a premium feel or a premium performance. Off the tee these balls travel significantly less distance than a Pro V1 for me. My test is not scientific, but several times I have hit two drives alternating between this ball and a Pro V1 and to my surprise, with identical feeling strikes, the Pro V1 travels 20 to 30 yards further. I have read other reviews calling B.S. on distance claims, but this is my experience. These balls are fine for one round but they will get badly scuffed assuming you don’t lose them first. Bottom line is that I recommend this ball if you want value and you go through a lot of balls. If you improve to the point where you don’t lose more than 1 or 2 balls a round I would recommend going to a premium ball. They will last longer and perform better.

These are my 83 year old dad go to ball!

If you are seniors like my dad, these balls are easy to locate on the grass and the turf. I bought my parents two sets for Christmas. They love the ball. It’s that simple! He said it was the best gift he was given.

    Finally

Returned to golf this year after a long layoff. I was hitting Tru Feel balls but had a very hard time tracking the yellow or the white (66 year old eyes) . My playing partner has the orange Callaways and let me try them and short story is I have switched. The matte finish is a little weird at first but that’s only in the hand, not in off the club face. I do not notice a difference in striking this ball, from a smooth ball and if it’s a little slower putting, my game is not good enough to detect it. I use the red balls because I find them easier to track and easier to find. I’m very happy with this ball.

    Top of line for feel.

Was looking for a less expensive version of Titleist Pro V. This golf ball has tremendous feel and a nice spin rate. Cover doesn’t hold up more than 4 or 5 holes. But nice distance and a beautiful feel make up for it. I will purchase again.

  24. Kevin Nishimoto

    Great Balls

Durable, soft, explode off face, slight backspin on green! Great balls for the price. Long on drives, great with irons, land and stop on green.

  25. Martial Arthur

Cool looking golf balls with some pros and some cons…

Well, first of all these golf balls definitely feel different upon first touch than your average ball. Instead of the usual smooth polished feel of most golf balls (which range from polished rock to smooth dimpled perfection), these feel stickier in the hand (almost rubbery making you try to squeeze them but you can’t) and they kind of reminded me a bit of the way basketballs or footballs feel when they stay on your finger tips for a while during dribbling or throwing. It’s a phantom feeling though as they’re not really rubber or really sticky but this is what makes them IMO great for faster greens since they don’t roll like rock style cheap balls. The biggest con is that they pick up a lot of dirt/grass which is impossible to rub off with your fingers before putting. The dirt sticks to them and since the balls are semi sticky feeling, you can’t get the dirt off via fingers and thumb like you can regular balls. This is especially frustrating since so many courses have temporarily stopped having ball washers at the tee boxes during Covid times so you can’t clean them properly which can indeed effect putts if there’s enough dirt on them. The lime green is VERY easy to spot on fairways and deader grass, but pretty hard to find in the weedy roughs. I spotted mine the other day in the thick and in turning to grab a club lost it again that quick eventually re-finding it but that kind of thing can get the nerves pumping for a tricky shot. They hit very well from almost any lie though when struck properly. They definitely live up to the straight and long promise (especially when sitting on a tee or middle of the fairway.., and again when struck properly). I put them away after a so-so first time using them, but after playing a course with super fast greens I gave them another chance hoping the matte finish would help stop putts from rolling way past the hole. The definitely did help in that (maybe it was a mental thing) and now I consider these balls one of my go-to balls. I have to say that while I hit some very nice drives and iron shots, I putted pretty poorly with them first time around but in time they really do putt smoothly. I’d definitely get them again (they just look too cool not to) and the lime green (and the red and hot pink) color is perfect. Definitely a ball that will take a bit of getting used to, but I can imagine playing very well with them once that happens.

These have performed very well for me!

I am a serious golf equipment review researcher, doing comprehensive research on anything I purchase. I watched a data driven report by Mygolfspy.com which was fascinating. According to their performance testing issues generating spin when these balls are wet or damp. I play a Par 3 regularly where the longest club would be a Hybrid depending on tee placements. I have played a number of rounds hitting this Callaway Supersoft, a Wilson Staff Duo (my favorite ball) Optix and a Titliest Pro V1X.The Titliest is obviously a far higher compression ball but as far as distance comparison with my elderly swing it didn’t outperform either the Wilson or the Callaway which are very similar in performance. The only issue I have is the texture of the Callaway, it feels sticky which I imagine grabs the club face. It is difficult to clean due to this sticky texture.

    Great Ball! Doesn’t last long

I recently purchased the Callaway 2021 Supersoft Golf Balls and was really impressed with their performance on the course. The ball has a nice, soft feel off the clubface and provides good distance and accuracy. However, I did notice that they didn’t seem to last very long. After just a few rounds, the balls were starting to show significant wear and tear. The cover seemed to scuff easily and the dimples were starting to smooth out.Overall, I would recommend the Callaway 2021 Supersoft Golf Balls for their great feel and performance, but just be aware that they may not have the longest lifespan.

As an avid golfer, I’ve had the pleasure of using Callaway golf balls, and they have truly enhanced my game. These golf balls are a testament to quality craftsmanship and advanced technology, delivering exceptional performance on the greens.Callaway golf balls excel in providing an optimal combination of distance, control, and feel. The advanced core design and aerodynamic dimple pattern contribute to impressive distance off the tee, allowing for longer drives and optimal ball flight. I’ve noticed a noticeable boost in my overall driving distance and accuracy.Furthermore, these golf balls offer excellent control and spin around the greens. Whether I’m hitting approach shots or attempting delicate short game shots, I can rely on the consistency and responsiveness of Callaway golf balls. They provide the necessary feedback and touch to execute shots with precision, giving me confidence in my game. The durability of Callaway golf balls is also commendable, as they withstand the rigors of play without easily scuffing or showing signs of wear.Overall, Callaway golf balls are a solid investment for golfers seeking improved distance, control, and durability. They have undoubtedly become my go-to choice on the course, enhancing my performance and enjoyment of the game.

    Great for the slow-to-average swinger.

You can’t really pay any attention to manufacturer’s claims when it comes to golf balls. They all say they’re faster, longer, and have great greenside control. I’m 47 and a 4 Handicap at the moment, playing from the regular men’s tees. My driver swing speed is around 92-95 mph, creeping down to the high 80s when the back is acting up. In other words, exactly at the average male swing speed with driver. This usually means roughly 205-215 carry with a decent strike, and totals that range widely from 210 to 245. At this speed and below, golf balls go pretty much the same distance with the driver. The only distance gains I’ve had in golf (or seen anyone else have) have been through improving technique. Unless you’re playing a 15-year old driver. In which case you should really get one of these new drivers, because they are amazing.Low-compression surlyn golf balls like the Supersoft spin less and they go a little straighter and carry further with IRONS. Again: at 93 mph and down, all golf balls go pretty much the same distance with driver. Given the standard deviation in most tests – it’s a wash. You will not see a benefit from a firm, fast ball until you’re pushing 100 mph and up. The ball speed might be slightly higher for us with firmer balls, but at 90 mph, that TP5x is not carrying further off the tee. What it WILL do is come up 5-7 yards short with your irons. But with driver – all the same. All the time in reviews I see people writing, “I picked up 10-20 yards when I switched to such-and-such ball!” No. They did not. These people are either lying, or delusional, or have highly selective memories.Basically, the fast swinger has a conundrum: he (or she – looking at you, Jessica Korda) wants a ball that spins super low with driver, then spins a reasonable amount with mid-irons without flying too high, and is SUPER spinny around the greens. This means a three, four, or five-piece ball that’s expensive and difficult to engineer and manufacture, and one with an expensive cast urethane cover. Fortunately for them, many of these people are pros and don’t have to pay for golf balls. All the SLOW swinger needs, on the other hand, is a ball that is low-spinning and high flying on pretty much every shot. We want low spin with driver for carry and roll. We want low spin with irons to get more carry. Also, the average slicer (we’ll call it a fade) is already ADDING too much spin to their iron shots, making them go offline and end up short. And around the greens? Nope, we really don’t need spin there either. We need to be bumping and running and getting the ball close by controlling trajectory. And stop hitting flop shots from three feet off the green and trying to carry everything right to the flag. For the love of God, I beg you, sell that 60º wedge and learn to use a pitching wedge and a putter around the greens. And the good news is that such a ball is not only cheap to design and produce, it’s also more consistent from ball to ball. I’ve played the Supersoft for about a year, and I know what it’s going to do. No surprises. This new ball feels the same and the performance is the same through the bag. And it feels really good. I’ll play a Prov1 or a TP5 from time to time, and they feel just fine. But the “X” tour balls feel like rocks to me. Unless I hit it in the middle. Every ball is soft when you hit the middle.I’d like to dispel another common myth that gets passed around. Ionomer/Surlyn balls are NOT more durable than urethane balls. The ionomer used for golf ball covers is hard. When it gets scuffed, it gets scuffed badly. And it stays scuffed. Because urethane is softer and more resilient, it absorbs a lot of the impact from trees, wedges with new grooves, and even cart paths. I’ve had urethane balls that hit a cart path HARD and I could barely tell where it had hit. But then they really ought to be durable for $48 a dozen. So in a nutshell, the new Supersoft feels great, does what it’s supposed to do, and it’s cheap. And I think the new logo/alignment graphic looks pretty cool.

    Great Balls

Some balls and no issue with delivery. Solid distance. Obviously not going to get as much spin with this being so soft but that hasn’t been a big issue. Not a very low handicap player. Decent feel around and on the greens.

Go to Golf Ball moving foward!

NEW GOLFER – PURCHASED THE MATTE GREENWanted to start of by stating that I’m a new golfer so I do not know much about these Golf balls other than that they served their purpose. The moment I took one out and placed it on the grass, you could spot the ball yards away. There were some instances where I thought I had lost the ball, but thanks to the green color I was able to find it in the brush. They fly and roll pretty well, but the main reason I would continue to use these is so that I do not lose them.If you are looking for a Golf Ball that will not disappear when you play this is the ball to use.

Soft compression balls do make a difference

I was using the cheapest golf balls I could buy on Amazon initially. When I hit those balls, it sounded like I was hitting a rock. However, since they were inexpensive, losing a ball was not a huge problem. In one of my foursomes, a nice guy came over and said I should consider soft compression balls. At that time, I was losing less balls – still not exactly a touring pro. I was a bogey golfer for the most part. So, he gave me a ball to hit and it was this Callaway Soft ball. It went further and it did not make a difference if I used a driver or an iron. It also sounded better. I am getting more distance on every shot now and I like the optic colors because I still have problems finding my ball from time to time.If you are a senior golfer, you will find this ball quite forgiving and it might improve your yardage like it did mine.
