These are not the squishy little league balls.
Just know these are not the ones used in 6u baseball.

The standard for Little League Baseball
They look fine.Time will tell. If they last as well as the Rawlings baseballs I played with as a kid,I will be satisfied.
dachery marvin –
Don’t hit them too hard, they’ll split.
They are fairly cheap balls. My son doesn’t hit many Homer’s, but he split and damaged a few of these while practicing. Best used for pitching practice.

The product is exactly what I expected.
I have my grandson hitting these baseballs, it feels good.

Full grain leather
Exactly like MLB balls except they’re stamped “Little League” (in that awful fake script font) and they’re made in China instead of (I believe) the Rawlings factory in the DR. Otherwise, they look and feel exactly like the official MLB balls, at literally a fraction of the price.

High Quality
Bought these as a Christmas present for my son. He was beyond excited. Quality is high and all 12 balls consistent.

Good Balls – Wrong Count
I ordered 2 dozen balls and only received 22.

Softer, restricted-flight balls with composite core (RLLB1 version) instead of cushioned cork center (RLLB version).
I can’t give these balls a bad rating even though I’m a little disappointed in them. They are good quality with grade B leather (instead of C or D like other balls in this price range), so they are durable. However, they have a composite cork rubber center instead of a cushioned cork center which the RLLB version and other higher quality tournament and professional balls have which means they are softer and “restricted-flight” balls. I think 8u-11u leagues wouldn’t really notice a difference but 12u-14u leagues would. Power hitters can’t hit this ball as far. When pitching batting practice to my son, I’m using these along with Wilson A1074 balls and these definitely don’t fly as far or come as hot off the bat as the Wilson’s. I bought these because the Wilson’s are same price as the more expensive RLLB version of this ball – too expensive for me this year when I’m buying 10 dozen at a time. Last year I paid $32/doz for the Wilson’s. Next time I will have to spend more on the RLLB version (instead of this RLLB1 version) to compare. But these are good for pitching, fielding, and catching practice so I can’t complain too much. I will even use these for batting practice – soft-toss and on the tee.

Great product
We purchased these baseballs (Rawlings Little League Competition Grade Youth Baseballs, RLLB1) from Amazon earlier this summer, and they were exactly as advertised – well constructed, durable, and competition grade. Perfect!

Great Balls
Just what I was looking for. They are not perfect, but perfect for what I needed them for. Practice hitting and catching with my son. Love that they all come in a wrapper. Will be using a bucket when we go out for convenience.

One Ball Damaged in Package
This was a package of six baseballs. Five of them were perfectly fine, but this one was not. It is scuffed and even indented in multiple places. I wanted to send a message directly to Amazon without leaving a bad review because the rest of the balls are high quality. However, the only option I have is to get a replacement. I don’t want to send back what I have because I need to use the rest of them right now. I’ll be happy to remove this review if someone can contact me and figure out another way to remedy this situation.

Only got 1 ball not 12 as stated
I only received 1 ball not 12. Now I have to return 1 ball and repurchase them at a higher price. Not happy. Description clearly states 12 balls as one item. I only got 1 ball.

Clean and quality
Balls are clean and good quality. I bought two packs for my sons to practice batting and they are perfect.

Perfect Ball for the Little guys!
I love the feel of these. These same baseballs at a major chain sporting goods store are nearly twice as much in price. These pop off the bat. Don’t ever buy synthetic balls because after a few hits, my 10 year old even destroys them. These balls, stay solid and the laces wear nicely. 5 stars! If I did have 120 balls already, I would be getting another couple dozen from Amazon.

Good enough
No quality issues. I don’t think that they are fakes like some other reviewers suspected for their batches. I wish they were made stateside and not in China, but maybe one day again…
BatmanBatman –
I guess I’m lucky, I received real balls.
Not sure if people are receiving counterfeit balls through 3rd party sellers, or maybe Amazon got a bad batch, regardless these are the REAL balls. I ordered 2 boxes, 24 in total, and was nervous after looking at reviews. Upon inspection, I was very happy to see these were the real deal. Some things to look for:1) the writing on the ball should be extremely precise, no smears, not blurry, very crisp and appropriately sized.2) stitching should be even3) ball should be relatively round with no dimpling.4) Thick cardboard dividers vs paper dividersSo if you’re wondering whether you should gamble and order the balls, I suggest you do. Just check them.

Excellent Baseballs
We got a box of these balls to go with a dozen or so balls that we already had last year, and started doing batting practice this Spring. My son is 16 and hits the ball pretty hard. We hit these balls at least 3 days a week out at a field or off of a tee and into a net. I would conservatively guess that each of the balls we have has been hit 350 times at least. Toward the end of November, the accumulated beatings and using them when it is wet has worn the balls down a lot to where they are barely usable at the end of November. I plan to buy two more boxes for Christmas and repeat all over again next year.

Someone is stealing?
I just received a box of Rawlings RLLB1 Little League baseballs. First they look like very good quality leather balls and the stitching is perfect. However, the box is suppose to contain 6 baseballs and there was only 5 in the box.I noticed that the box has been torn open literally the glued down flaps have been torn to open the box. Is someone opening glued closed boxes and stealing one ball out of the box. Reading other reviews I see my box isn’t the only one missing a ball.I’ll be calling Rawlings tomorrow to see if they will honor the sale and send another ball. One can try. ( :

Good baseballs
I’ve been buying these for a little over two years now. Our son, now 12, plays baseball and our daughter, 14, plays softball, but she practices with us with baseballs. These balls are of very quality for the price. Our easiest way to get practice baseballs is to go to our local minor league team’s games and catch/chase down foul balls, but I’d rather be watching the game. We’re on our fourth dozen and still use all 48. A few have some bad scuffs, one has a few loose seams, but those were ones I most likely hit (6’2″ 270). It surprises me that more people don’t buy these baseballs. They’re comparable, if not exact, to the balls our local Little League uses. I used to would have also recommended the Wilson High School baseballs, but they’ve went up to nearly double the price of these Rawlings. Nice ping from these balls when they are hit and good seams to help our son with his pitching.

Great Product
These baseballs have held up through a lot of swings. The reliability of these balls are tremendous. I chose the Rawlings RLLB1 baseballs for our 10u travel team’s baseball practice. What I found was that the balls didn’t get “mushy” after putting them through 5,000+ swings. I highly recommend these baseballs for games and practices.Purchasing baseballs off Amazon is very comparable to the sporting goods store pricing, but without the hassle of knowing if the store has enough product in stock. I am a big fan of this product and the value that it brings to our team and budget.

A must have for boys
Great baseballs and allowed us to practice all spring and summer. Just don’t leave out side in rain storm for a few days (whoops).

The lacing is amazing feels like a real MLB baseball lacing
Very good for beginners and a good deal for how good the baseball is and now I’m like veteran with baseballs lacing.

Great baseballs. Will order again.
Not a total expert, but I know a bit about baseballs. These are great baseballs for practice or low little league games. Real leather, no blems and I assume they will hold up very well. Nice raised seams. The synthetic balls we used when our grandson was younger lasted just a few days. These are a bit harder, so I wouldn’t choose them for a five or six year old, but he’s skilled enough now to use these. Can’t ask for more considering the price on Amazon.

Great
Each ball was individually wrapped to keep protected until used. The box was not fastened well upon delivery. Would purchase again.
S. Martin –
Ok, check them first
These were packaged well, individually wrapped. Of the dozen, 10 were fine but 2 were not completely round… there were dents in them. So they will still be ok for us for practice. We had to mark the 2 with dents so our son doesn’t mix them in when he’s pitching. My son has been playing for 7 years and I can’t recall ever seeing a baseball look like those 2 did. So I really think it was a flaw in manufacturing, not like they were hit or dropped and got dented in. Depending on your purpose with these, just check them first. I personally did not think it was worth my time or effort to try and get 2 replaced.

Overall pretty good balls for baseball practice
Overall pretty good balls for baseball practice. Unfortunately my son was in machine pitch this year and the leather covers do not do well. Outside of the typical wear from a pitching machine wheel that you would expect the covers of these balls actually become loose and the balls take on a squishy feel. If playing in coach pitch or kids pitch these are great balls. Do not buy is using for a pitching machine…Diamond brand balls last much longer for this use.

Listing says origin is USA, balls marked Made in China
Listing says origin is USA, balls marked “China”. I try to support US made goods, it would be nice if the sellers list them accurately. I hope these were not made by forced labor in China.

The boys loved these.
You can never have enough balls. This is good for batting practice, so you don’t need a catcher. Just keep throwing balls.

Great full grain leather ball, core stays solid for the life of the ball
This is a great ball that holds up well under heavy use. The core stay solid and does not turn to mush before the cover wears out. The full grain leather cover and raised seams make this a very good pitching ball. The quality core holds up to relentless hitting. Nowhere in the description does it say that this is a tournament grade ball, because it is not a tournament grade ball. Slamming a great product because it was not a different product due to seller or buyer carelessness corrupts the value of reviews. I ordered the product from Amazon Warehouse Deals and was shorted a ball, and yes, the seller was careless and it stinks, but it has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Thanks.

Good quality
Great baseballs, only reason I won’t buy them again is the price went up from $36 to $48. Go down to $36 a dozen and I will buy them again.

Great quality little league baseballs.

Game Ball Quality
Game balls ain’t cheap. But they are so much better than the cheap balls. We play travel baseball. No ordinary ball will last very long. These are great. Nice feel. And last as long as you can keep the ball clean. These will last until lost or discolored.
Beam Me Up Scotty –
I will only buy Rawlings RLLB1 for our Little League.
I’ve coached Little League for 6 years and have 2 boys that play. I’ve tried about every brand of baseball and Rawlings are by far the best. We are tough on baseballs and will ruin the cheap synthetic covered balls in a matter of a week or so. Some cheap balls will become oblong after one hit and then they are junk. If you want baseballs that will stay round and last, invest in high quality balls like these. I also order these for our league as game balls.

Consistent and True
I’ve always appreciated the consistency of Rawlings balls. The competition-grade, RLLB1 balls are not the finest available, but at +/-$3/each, they feel and play great. The full-grain wrap has a subtle, but grippy feel and wears pretty well. The seams are raised enough for Little league and don’t flatten out after a reasonable amount of bat abuse. Send a hard tip spinning into the backstop and CONGRATULATIONS!- you’ve just gained another practice ball, but aside from that or getting them wet, they wear just fine. Even after hard knocks, they remain true and keep their shape. I strongly prefer these balls to Diamond or Wilson balls whose competition-grade balls are not even close to the quality or consistency Rawlings provides with their RLLB1. If you’re going to use them for league play, make sure you’ve got the right ball for the right league! I got a dozen for just under $40 through Amazon. Can’t go wrong. Play Ball!NOTE: I had a hiccup with the seller that was promptly rectifed, with apologies, after I contacted them. Satisfied all the way around.

Rawlings Raised Seam Baseballs Little League but…
I purchased the Rawlings Raised Seam Baseballs and they arrived within the 2 days of prime shipping. This comes with 1 Dozen little league baseballs individually packaged. Upon opening the baseballs I have seen that the leather was in warn condition and the red seams are a little old and coming apart. I am not sure if this is due to shelf life or bad manufacturing. This is not a deal breaker however this does show how long these will last when we start playing games with them. Time will always tell with baseballs since every game should be with a brand new ball. Please see 1 of the images of the baseballs I received.

Legit leather balls
I was hesitant to purchase given the many fabricated reviews but this dozen is legit and of good quality. We haven’t thrown them around or done some BP but the threading and leather feels solid. Good luck with your purchase!

Great practice balls
I’ve been using these for the past few seasons. They hold up well on our fairly rough infields, maintain shape well and are priced very well for what you get.
