Great Bat

My son just started kid pitch baseball but is very small. This bat has the appropriate length while also still being light enough for him to swing. In his first game he was 2/2 and the bat made that nice *crack* sound like it does in the majors even though it didn’t leave the infield. Seems like a great bat so far.

Thin barrel

Not what I was expecting, the barrel seems pretty thin. My 9-year-old son has not complained yet so we will see how it does.

Thin bat – Lots of stinging

While the concept of the bat is good and maybe is good for 9 or 10 year olds, this is too thin of a bat for a 6-8 year old. The barrel is tiny. And if you don’t hit it, your kid will have some hurting hands. And that’s not what you want to keep young kids in the game.Went with a different Louisville slugger with big barrel instead.
