Really nice quality glove
There’s a ton of golf gloves out there. It’s sorta hard to differentiate a lot from others but I thought this was a really nice and comfortable glove. The only last test would be its durability, I’ve had gloves rip at the palm only after a few rounds of golf. For now 5 stars.

Callaway is onto Something… Incremental Improvements
Bought this because of the “Compression Fit Golf Glove” tag line which is intriguing to me a someone who wears compression gloves most of the day and while asleep for chronic inflammation in my hands. I also had one of the original models from a few years back prior to developing the inflammation condition. TLDR is that despite the other reviews whining about it being so much better, this is an improvement. There’s a reason it’s 4 years old and I still use it, and that’s because it was never a secure and stable enough fit to use for anything but the short game.These aren’t quite at that level of compression, but they’re close. I genuinely think if Callaway were to be just a little bold and go out on a limb and add just a small amount of ergonomic padding like seen in the Bionic PerformanceGrip Pro gloves and have these fit more like a true compression glove that these would become far more popular than they probably realize. I’m 31 and in better than average shape and I would exclusively use that sort of glove if it existed, at least a few pairs per season.Full disclosure, I’m returning this because, as you can see in the picture, it tore at the seam near the thumb. I’m chalking this up to an uncommon manufacturing defect, but I have no way of knowing that. I had it for two days before that appeared and only used it to compare with my Bionic glove while putting inside my house.After this trial period and overall liking it much better than most other golf gloves, I still won’t be asking for a replacement with my return simply because while the feel is a bit better than that of my Bionic PerformanceGrip Pro, the support feels extremely lacking by comparison. If the compression were truer to that of say a Copper Fit compression glove, that would make up for the padding support difference most likely. Unfortunately it falls a bit short in both aspects.

Excellent glove!
I tried on a medium in store before I purchased online. I am in between a small and a medium, so it’s hard for me to find a glove that fits. I bought this in a small and they fit the best out of any I ever tried! It might be better suited for in between sizes, but overall these had a soft feel and a comfortable grip. I actually really like the small velcro clasp by the wrist.One con was the fingers did seem a bit narrow and my hand didn’t quite fill out the tips. It’s definitely manageable though.Overall, I’d recommend this glove if you’re having trouble finding one that fits.I can’t say much on the durability, but I used it twice and it did hold up. It got early quite easily, but many white gloves do. I noticed a lot of people complaining that these are different from the last model. Never tried the old one, so I can not attest to that.

This glove has worked great for me. Super comfortable fit and grip is excellent. I’ve used it for about 12 rounds now and seems very well made.

Glove fits great, good grip, stays cool. Palm is poor quality and doesn’t last. I have gone through 3 of these this year and the last one only lasted 5 rounds before wearing through.

Awesome glove.
Im not a fan of Callaway products but this glove gets better and better and it’s probably the best glove in the market. Yes it’s different from the previous model but that don’t matter. It’s still very similar to the previous model now you have the ability to tighten it when it brakes in. Also the leather is a bit thicker which is better in my opinion. Thinner leather feels like it get slippery.

Didn’t want a velcro closure
I’ve used the Calloway XSPANN golf glove for several years because I don’t like the velcro closure that most gloves have. For some reason Calloway added a velcro closure to the glove. And it’s a small tab that’s more difficult to use than a regular sized tab. Very disappointing.

I never tried the original without the velcro strap. But after reading other reviews, it’s not a problem for me. It’s still very snug! I LOVE the breathable cotton fingers and it fits, well, like a glove!🤣 I have the Callaway Tour Authentic full leather and to me they’re both great gloves, but for summer/warm weather, give me the XSpann!

Very comfortable golf glove
This golf glove is very comfortable to play golf with. The fit is good. Only drawback I found is wear durability in that it can rip after a few rounds. However, in all cases this happened the vendor was willing to replace it.

I find these fit me perfectly where most gloves almost fit and I make it work. I loaded up on these so I don’t have an issue running out and not finding them again

Question the durability of this glove….
I absolutely loved how comfortable the glove was. The fit was perfect and nothing beats the feel of Cabretta leather. Literally tore the third time I slipped the glove over my hand from the base of my middle finger all the way to the wrist. It was disappointing to spend +$20 and immediately and immediately throw it in the garbage.

Nothing like the older xspann. Has a velcro strap.
Fairly comfy. I don’t like velcro on my gloves and this one does have the velcro strap. I got this expecting no velcro as the original did not. Pictures seemed to show otherwise. Seems not very durable. I have a feeling it will tear after a few uses. First impressions are not good.

If you’re looking for a glove that has no Velcro like the original ones these are not it.For some reason they added Velcro to the wrists to make these just as fiddly as every other golf glove

Comfy but not durable at all
I liked the fit and feel of the glove but absolutely horrible durability. Entire palm wore out within weeks of buying and about 5-6 visits to the driving range. Didn’t even get to play a round with it and aleady ruined.

Avoid Buying
My previous glove did not have the Velcro wrist strap, which I really liked since I could just put the glove on. When I saw they added the Velcro I was hesitant … feeling the Velcro would lose its Clasps… which has proven true… now I have a golf glove with NO WRIST TIGHTNESS … they just added the Velcro knowing it would become useless after a Very Short TWO WEEKS!!! USELESS!!! Do Not Buy … Waste of $$$$

Nothing like the original.
Have the version spandex glove and loved it so much I decided to get another one as the first is finally wearing out. Ordered thinking I was getting am improved model as described. The new version is very difficult to take on and off and materials used are of much lower quality than I would expect from this brand. They have substituted a cheap cloth back and added a wrist Velcro closure. The original was much easier to put on and remove and fit was perfect. Very disappointed with the product.

Disappointed
I bought two and returned the second one after playing two rounds with the first one. Probably should have return the first one as well. Could just be my grip is not the best and it might not be the same result for others, but there were scuffs that looked like would become holes rather quickly. I reverted to my favorite FootJoy Men’s WeatherSof Golf Gloves which have reinforced areas for the palm.

It’s a cool glove but nothing compared to the previous Callaway xSpann sleeve glove. Material feels thinner than your normal golf glove and it still has a strap.

Poor fit, low quality material and construction, and low comfort around the wrist
For a $20 glove, the quality is low. Leather is soft but thin and after 3 rounds, it looks like I’ve had it for months. The seam is unraveling at the wrist. I expected a better fit with the compression design but that material is thin as well and doesn’t “compress” as expected. The velcro latch is thick with prickly edges and awkward to apply.

the original version of this glove was awesome. I loved the way it fit, the concept was terrific and the execution flawless. the second version, the one i am reviewing, is a plan shadow of the original. The palm was visibly worn by the second round. It was worn out by the fourth. It didn’t fit as well and the little velcro tab is just a pain. If anyone knows where to get the predecessor, please contact me!!!
