    This is a steal

    I purchased my first one.. broke it in and then purchased another.The leather is fairly stiff out of the gate; but, I was able to break it in reasonably well and fairly quickly. I’ve had the Wilson $$$$ gloves and of course the leather on those gloves is more supple but, for the money, this glove IS money!!

    Tears and damage out of box

    Took it out of the box to these tears and rips across the mit. These will continue to rip across the glove and no doubt get bigger. Bad quality

    Youth size

    I was excited to find a glove I could use to practice with my kids that was decent and didn’t cost $100+. I have slender fingers and this glove was way too tight. Pretty sure they either sent me the wrong one, or it’s a youth sized glove advertised as adult.

    Bought this glove for a game I was going to, didnt think much of it as it was only meant to be a quick replacement for my other glove that Ieft behind in a move. But it really is a quality glove.

    Note the product description closely before ordering:

    The Franklin Sports Pro-Flex glove is a very good glove, but I did not note that it was a “youth” model. I could not get my hand in it at all! The glove feels broken in, and this was why I had picked it, I wanted to start using it right away, to help my grandson with his pitching. It is a good glove for a young player to work with.

    No break in time needed!

    I have yet to put it into use, but it feels great and really doesn’t need any breaking in. I am looking forward to seeing how I do. It’s been a long time since I’ve played baseball.

    You get what you pay for.

    Wanted a glove to play catch with the kids. Did not want to pay $250. Saw this and thought why not it doesnt look bad. It did need to be oiled, and broken in. But after 24 hours tied up, oiled, and then having a ball thrown into it a couple hundred times it has a nice pocket.

    This was my grandsons first grown up glove. It fit good was soft and seemed broken in. He will start high school next year, so I’m hoping he can use it for a little longer. If not he has two younger brothers.

    Hard as a Rock!

    This product will take days or week to break in. I returned it and bought the Rawlings. Rawlings | RSB Slowpitch Softball Glove Series ($40). It was broken in out of the bag, conformed to my hand perfectly and was broke in with the thumb and pinky perfectly aligned. Pass on this glove the thumb and heel are not adjustable without tying.

    Much better gloves out there in same price range. Avoid this one.

    Terrible glove. It says leather shell but it’s the plastickyest leather ever. Also the hand hole is just unusually tight for an adult glove. Fits more like a youth. I dont have large hands. I wear medium gloves and this Mitt was still too tight to get on and off with any relative ease even after being oiled and stretched. I’d you’re looking at this glove stop. Go find a Rawlings Player Prefered model. About $5 higher and 10x better glove. If ya still want the Franklin in a lefty throw gimme a holler. I’ll make ya a good deal.

    TOO SMALL

    I should have heeded other reviews but had to see for myself! This glove in no way will fit an average adult, it won’t even fit my taller 12yo son! Should be listed as a SMALL YOUTH glove ONLY and definitely not for adults!!!

    Terrible pocket ! Horrible for infielder use.

    Glove is soft enough, bendable and a good price. However, the webbed pocket makes it horrible to get the ball out of glove. Fingers get stuck in the webbing. Comes in slightly smaller size without webbing, but needed the 13.5 inch size for better fit. This glove should only be made with closed pocket. Most players these days whether for recreational use or hard core travel ball or college ball play more than one position. Need the the flexibility for variable positions. Should have returned it, but wanted to give it a try.

    I bought this glove back in the Fall for my son for Christmas. He never even used the glove until the first week of March for his high school baseball season. He used it for literally 7 practices and the glove fell apart! The window closed to return it in January so I’m stuck with a useless glove and I’m out money. Definitely not a happy customer!

    This is definelty a youth glove

    I have fairly large hands and this wasn’t even close to fitting. I gave it to my 12 year old and it fit him perfect.
