Holds more than you’d expect, but bats flop around
I managed to get everything from my old bat bag into this one, but don’t expect the bats to stand up straight on their own. They stay in place, but flop around a bit, so I can’t imagine wearing this on my back. Still, carrying it from the parking lot to the field is a snap, and the pack has lots of nice pockets to hold valuables separately from the gear.

Helmet holder
I really enjoyed this product for my daughter. The only thing that kinda bugged me was that the helmet pocket was too big. I tried to tighten the straps and still nothing. The bag has a lot of space and is really helpful! Would still buy again.

Great at first, Didn’t Last Long!
Update 3 months after purchase: seems pulling apart near zippers, bag will not last the summer season.First review 1 week after purchase: This is a great bag. We bought it for our 8 yr old son who plays rec ball and travel. It’s a little big for him, but has plenty of room for his gear and a change of clothes/shoes if we’re running from the field to another event.

There is a LOT of pockets for your bats and your waterbottle so you don’t have to worry to carry your waterbottle. and There is a spot to put your helmet it is very deep inside the bag too there is a place to put your phone I just love this bag its worth the money everyintng is soo good about me and my family love it i denflily recommend even though it is a little big its a little god to use. And there is a lot of pockets which is good too. I just love it. So its worth the money let me tell you that.

Nice bag
I like to give 5 Stars when I can but due to the shoe compartment not fitting my kids size 8 cleats I took a star off.Used for over a month. Zipper sometimes catches on inner fabric. The main compartment is super big. Light fabric but seems durable. Overall I like it

Great for my 11 yr old
I bought this because it appeared easier for my son to grab his helmet and go as well as throw it back in there after batting and not have to leave it sitting around for his next at bat. It works well for that. Has a separation for dirty, smelly cleats as well! It’s large enough that he should be able to use this over the next couple years as long as it holds up to boy toughness which is too soon to account for! Price was great! No complaints here!

This is exactly what I was expecting a large enough ballbag she can get everything she needs in it… Seems to be made of excellence material and made to withstand the hazards of softball. The only drawback was NO HOOK for the fence to hang it up by. I had to go purchase and attach a hard HOOK for this purpose. Other than that. Perfect bag for the money

Great bag! Spacious.. only have one problem and that is that it is hard to get the shoes into the bottom where they go unless the bag is laying down or turned upside down. And upside down all the other stuff falls out! Otherwise its an excellent bag for baseball

One Season
I bought one for each of my daughters. They don’t sit well, the gear crumples it over. It doesn’t have a foundation, so it topples over. When it’s hanging on the fence, it doesn’t hold it’s shape and so my girls all throw their equipment on the ground near it. Very disappointing. But it’s a good bag if you’re starting out and plan to upgrade if/when she likes the sport.

Great Baseball Bag for Youth
I’m writing this review now 2 months into our baseball season. My son is rough on his items and this bag has endured a lot (like throwing it around the dugout lol). So far we have no issues, no rips, nothing. It’s big enough to fit all the things – batting helmet, glove, water bottle. It has 2 mesh areas for bats with no issues with them falling out. My son is 8 and this is perfect.

Great Bag
This is a great bag and has lots of room for equipment. The straps adjust and even fit my small 7 year old. The bag has held up to daily use with a rather rough group of kids tossing equipment everywhere. The extra room is nice with traveling for ball. It allows for ALL equipment (cleats, helmets, gloves, bats, uniforms, snacks and drinks).

Good bag/ great price
Bought this bag for my 12 year old son that just started playing baseball. He lives this bag. It holds all of his stuff with extra room for more. The bag looks to be made well. We have had no issues so far but my only small concern is that the material is a bit thin. The stitching seems strong so only time will tell if it survives my son.

Not adult sized
Arrived yesterday, returning immediately. This is not an adult-sized bag. It’s curious that the picture of the cleat pocket only shows one cleat – that’s all that fits. My size 13 2 cleats have no chance of fitting. As others stated, the bat holders also have no chance of holding adult-sized 34″ or longer bats. Disappointed for sure.

Big Bag, but easy to carry
My son outgrew his other bag, and wanted something larger, but not too big to carry. Loves that it can hold 2 bats easily, and up to 4 total. Great for wood bat tournaments where you inevitably break at least one. Fabric a little flashy, and hope it’s durable? He has used in 5 tournaments so far without any issues.

Lasted three months before the stitching around the hook and handle started ripping, made it through the end of rec and through travel. I’m not sure it was meant for a serious player. Not thrilled, but served its purpose for the time we used it.

Worth every penny

My son loves it & I mostly do, but I find the bat straps to be too loose, and that will only get worse because they are elastic.A better located or better reenforced pocket for sunglasses would also be a great addition… Use a clam shell case for sunglasses with this bag!

This bag is fantastic! Cannot believe the room it has. Doesn’t look like it at first but expands to hold a helmet and 4 bats and a glove. Great space inside, helmet compartment isn’t useful
My 9yo daughter rarely uses the outer helmet compartment for her helmet – just parks the helmet inside the bag. It’s just not convenient to secure a helmet there though it feels safe enough when tied in properly.Overall the bag is otherwise super spacious and can hold batting helmet, couple of baseball gloves, sliding sleeve and water and drink just great.

Spacious bag
This bag has plenty of room for equipment. Maybe even more than my daughter will every need since you can place the helmet on the outside. Still early in the season, but holding up well. The test will be the bat loop, I find the nonzipper ones stretch over time.

Quality went downhill
Got this bag in March 2023 to replace the same bag, different color that was purchased in May 2019. The material at the top of the straps has frayed after a month of use and we still have two months left of the season. Might have to go back to the old bag for the rest of the season and start the search all over again for a new baseball bag. My son loved this bag, it worked for everything he needed it for, but now gets nervous it is going to fall apart on him when he walks to the field from the parking lot.

Update April 7, 2022We have had two full years out of this bag, including both Little League and travel seasons. Incredibly durable. Even now, the bag is still being used. I just ordered a replacement as the bottom now has a very small hole. With all the dragging and laying on dugout gravel this bag has held up even better than I anticipated!———————We were looking for a baseball bag that allowed for the batting helmet to be placed outside the inner compartment so as not to take up all the interior space. We also did not want to spend more than absolutely necessary. This bag fits the bill and then some.The helmet fits securely in an outer pocket that clips to secure the helmet. It takes a little dexterity to secure the clips while the helmet rests in the pocket, but the clips are sturdy and the helmet tightly secured once clipped in. The hook to secure the bag to a fence is sturdy, and the zippers after 5 months still work like new. Without having to compete with a helmet inside the bag, the inside pocket has plenty of space for a youth fielder’s mitt, youth catcher’s mitt, an adult fielder’s mitt, and batting gloves. The bottom exterior pocket for cleats/shoes is plenty big enough for a Little Leaguer’s cleats.The only downside to the bag is the two bat sleeves do not have adjustable straps to keep the bat handles tight to the bag. I knew this going in as the merchant had a clear picture of the straps and for the price it was worth looking past. The barrel pockets are plenty deep so there is no worries about them popping out, and the elastic straps are well constructed, but it would be nice to be able to tighten them up. This is the only reason I gave the bag 4 stars for overall rating, durability, and sturdiness. For the money, I am extremely happy with the purchase and confidently recommend it if you need one that doesn’t break your budget.

Flimsy interior material started ripping almost right away. Some of the pockets only had 1 zipper instead of 2 forcing me to open from the side and run the risk of contents falling out whereas 2 zippers would allow the opening to be at the top of the compartment. Basic layout/design is good but I don’t think it’s going to last very long.

This bag is hardly what it was worth, I feel I paid too much!!!
You get what you pay for! The price was right since I didn’t have much to spend after I had to eplace gloves shoes bats bag shin guards and mask that were stolen. This bag is poorly designed. Not poorly made as it is durable and roomy but the pockets for the bats are really about 5 inches too short and the elastic to hold the bats in place is almost worthless. Would I buy it again, NO! Every time I grab the bag to go the bats fall out. This gets maddening. I’ll wait until next season and buy a better one and give this to Goodwill.

New go-to for weekly softball
Wanted to replace my shoulder bag with something a bit more useful for carrying everything I want to take for a game. The shoe area and smaller pockets are amazing for keys/your wallet to carry to the field. The bat holders are great along with ability to hold a water bottle if needed (I’ve got 3 bats instead of 4 so helps). The main pocket is gigantic and easily holds multiple gloves/towels/balls/etc

Want to love it…
This is a decent product for the price, but it is not that durable. The pockets for bats and water bottles ripped very easily and the elastic tore off after just a couple uses. It is fine for now for my 8 year old, but probably wouldn’t be great for older kids.

When the package arrived, it was missing the external helmet holder that clips onto the bag. I contacted Athletico about it and without any hassle at all, they immediately sent me a replacement bag. Nice bag for kids
Got this for my 7 year old and it’s great. He’s kind of small so it looks huge on him but it holds his helmet, glove, 2 bats, my glove, and a pack of seeds with plenty of room to spare. I like the separate pockets for organization. He is pretty hard on it and one of the top straps that holds the bat in broke but there are still 3 other slots so it’s not an issue. Other than that, the bag seems to be great quality for the lower-end price

I would buy again.
My son asked for this bag for Little League. He needed a bag to carry all the gear he had. Normally the team players share the helmets but due to Covid a lot of parents are choosing to have their child have their own helmet. It is a sturdy well built bag that appears to have the durability to last for years for the initial expense which I found reasonable.
