I bought these for my dog who became addicted to a practice ball he found when we went walking on our local ballfield. I don’t know what brand he found there, but the leather on the mystery ball is much thicker and more durable than these. That said, these are not meant for kids to be chewing on. I think the leather would hold up just fine if you were using it for its intended use. So don’t go by my score. If you buy these for your dog to chew on, slip them down into an old sock. Ralphie loves his Ball Sack, especially since he doesn’t have one of his own. 😂 And putting the ball inside the sock makes the leather last longer, a win-win for us both! 🐾🐾👍🏼👍🏼

Great for beginners!
Purchased these for my son who is 6 and learning to catch. It’s softer than a hard ball so I don’t worry about it hurting him. A great ball to learn with!

Great for throwing drills.
These balls are perfect for throwing drills in any 8U leagues. Kids are more willing to stand in front of a ball and attempt a catch. They’re the same size and weight as a regular ball so are good for throwing practice too.Use a few for batting practice sometimes if you want to get fewer grounders and more fly balls.A must for any coaches or parents with a kid in 8U league or T-ball

Good, but…
These are great for kids learning baseball as the weight is correct, as opposed to the super-light foam versions which are hard to catch. My only complaint is that I bought a 3-pack of these and all three are different diameters. Not massively different but enough that you can feel the difference between them in your hand. It appears that the smallest one has a visibly tighter stitch, and since the ball is soft that tighter stitch shrinks the ball.

Got these to throw against concrete/brick wall for throwing and fielding practice. They don’t quite have the bounce for that kind of use, but I also don’t think that is what they are intended for. They’re good for youth play, and they are pretty durable.

Good for hitting, bad for catch.
My boy was just as afraid of these as real baseballs when learning to play catch and he’d stand way off to the side to ensure he didn’t get hit.Although these are much softer than hardballs they apparently still didn’t feel good to take in the chest. Per similar complaints I ordered the Swax brand for catching.Planning to use the Rawlings for batting practice, but the Swax for catch.

Stitches came loose
Great for beginners but the stitches on the one of balls came loose after a few hits from a 7 year old. Either I need to sign him up for the majors, or the quality is lacking.

These are not tballs. They are hard, not the kind you would buy for tball in a reliable sports store. I’m sure these are great for older kids, but not for tballers.

Seam is a little weak
One of the ball’s seam came loose on 1st use, just playing casual catch. The other two were fine.Besides the weak seam, it does good job of letting my boys get use to the feel of a baseball.

Great for Kids
Perfect for kids to get a feel for throwing a real ball. Hard enough for kids to learn to respect the ball (vs a nerf ball, for example), while not so hard it will do any permanent damage. So far they’ve held up to moderate usage for over 6 months.

This is exactly what I was looking for.
I have older boys, but I wanted a softer ball. They practice in the field beside my house when they aren’t on the diamond. I have siding on my house, so I don’t want it cracked and last year they broke a window. Here’s hoping this solves the problem.

Great Tballs for small beginner hands
Great for my 6 and 9 year old girls for playing catch. The size of the ball is a perfect fit for their kid-sized Rawlings baseball gloves. They are just soft enough to not hurt their little hands yet heavy enough to develop their throw. These Tballs a quite durable and well worth the price.

Soft and sort of bounce
These are great for beginners. They are soft so it won’t hurt to bad to get hit by them and they have a bounce to ease the sting if they really get a hold of one with the bat.

Easier for our dog to carry
When we only walk on our lane with our lab/golden mix she likes to carry a ball. As she loves baseballs I decided to buy her these as a treat during the Covid shelter in place. They are softer and she seems to like that. So for dogs these are great.
