Comfortable hat
I purchased this hat for my husband to wear while working outside in the yard and he loves it! It is very light weight and breathable so he doesn’t get too hot while wearing it. The hat is also very well made and looks great. I’d would definitely recommend this hat to others.

Way too small for an XL hat
Don’t know who has such a small head for XL, but this thing is tight fitting.It even has a draw cord to make it tighter, so why didn’t they make the head opening larger?

Great, light, comfortable hat for pickleball!
This is a great hat for sun protection especially for us fair skinned blondies. I wear a sweatband underneath to protect the liner and control moisture in my eyes and the two work great together. Excellent quality and a cool feel while playing your chosen sport.

I’m a 5’3” twig of a female and ordered a S/M. It was snug like a glove and perfect. Wore it out in 95 degree blazing summer heat golfing, and it was amazing. I usually have the adidas light cooling hat but I needed something to cover the sides of my face as well due t some lovely burns prior. I think I looked a bit like a dork, but people assured me the hat was cute lol. Either way I was super happy with it. It was very lightweight and the brim stayed flat and didn’t flop like some of the other sun hats. Highly recommend. Just keep an eye out for your head size. My head isn’t oddly small or anything – I just have a small frame.

Way, way too small
Well, I got the L/XL version and it’s skull-crushingly tiny. Like, my head couldn’t even begin to fit inside this hat. I gave up and returned it, which is too bad because I like the look and style. Just wish the size was actually Large or Extra Large!

I’m not a hat person but some basal cell concerns have me wearing one now. I’ve trie and returned a number of hats but this one is a keeper! It’s stylish and doesn’t have a goofy look. It has a good, stiff brim that retains its shape and is NOT floppy. I think you’ll like it.

This Hat is Nice, but Too Small
Looks and feels like a nice hat, but one very large problem – it is too small and cuts into my head. I do not normally have a problem with hats being too small. I can buy them off the rack and they fit just fine. But as soon as I put this on my wife said “it’s too small isn’t it?” because she could see the skin on my forehead smashed down by the tight fit. It was even too tight for her head. I can’t figure out why there aren’t more reviews saying this hat is too small? Looks like I have to pay to ship it back too which is a bummer.

Great hat, but…
Great hat! Light, comfy, well made. Im all about adidas. The one prob (& it’s a big one) is the fit was small. I don’t have a big head and can buy any hat off the rack and it’s fine 99.9% of the time. This hat, while great, was on the small side. My BIL who’s got a small head wanted it so gave it away.

Not for someone with a smaller head, string cannot be removed
Never took outside, but can see how this would provide ample protection. My only issues are that the string to adjust cannot be removed, and the brim is quite large. If you have a smaller head size, it looks very strange.

Style and comfort
Wish the brim was just a tad wider but this hat does protect you from the sun way better than a normal ball cap. It is extremely comfortable and lightweight even if it’s soaked with sweat. The adjustable chords for the head and the chin are durable and function properly holding their positions even in higher wind gusts up to about 10-15 knots. Great product.

I bought a large because I had a previous adidas bucket hat that ran too small. The large size is still too small for me. I wear a 7 5/8.

Fits a little small
I ordered a L/XL and it fits much closer to a large. I originally got this hat to lessen how much I sweat, but it has almost exacerbated it.

Great but but be warned.
First off this is not “One Size” it’s Lg/XL. I wear a 7 3/8 fitted hat and the fit of this one is tight. Wearable but tight. If you are 7 1/2 it’s a maybe larger than that I would move on.That being said the hat itself it great. It’s a material used on the UPF fishing shirts. It has a flap around the crown and mess underneath also much like fishing shirt are on the back. I would definitely purchase again. Just be warned about the size.

I need a hat that protects my face, ears and neck from the sun. It also must stay in place on windy days.This hat does what I need. Not too sure how long it will stay bright white, but it looks good now.

Tried both S/M and L/XL and both were too tight fitting 😞
I tried both the S/M and L/XL sizes. I have a normal size men’s head and usually wear a Men’s M or L bike helmet. The adidas Golf Bucket hat S/M was too tight all around my head, but the L/XL was also to tight on the sides. The headband in the hat isn’t very flexible so I felt a constant and uncomfortable pressure wearing the hat. I only wore the hat for a few minutes to test it out but the headband didn’t become any more comfortable.Maybe if the hat was washed or soaked in warm water and then worn, the shape of the elastic would change and fit my head shape better. But I returned both size hats, unfortunately. I really like the look and fabric. 😞I have worn other bucket style hats from Columbia and a no-name off-brand and the headband was more flexible, and the hat more comfortable for long periods of time.

Awesome Hat! (but runs small).
I usually wear a Medium to Large hat. this was listed as Large to Extra large. Well it is so tight on my head, even without cinching down the size adjuster that a 20+ MPH wind could not dislodge it. I would say that the L/XL is a Medium to Medium Large in other brands. The hat itelf is just awesome and vents well, looks decent, and protects me from intense sun. Recommeded, but if you need a true large or XL, it may not work for you.

Could have a LITTLE more stretch in the head band – but, I suppose it WILL stay on your head if you are a large size noggin. I wish it was a little larger in that area.

huge brim = great sun protection; not XL as listed, but I always use the chin strap and its all good
Until I got this hat, I wore 7-3/4 size boonie hats religiously on my daily walks in the AZ sun. But the huge brim on this hat provides much more sun protection and better head-top ventilation, so now I use this hat exclusively, even though the fit is tighter; I just always use the chin strap. The adjustment clasp on the chin strap is higher quality than the ones on my boonie hats (the latter sometimes slip loose).It even survived a saturating downpour w/o damage (brim warping, etc.).
