Excellent protection for travel
I used to wrap my club heads with a few towels to protect when traveling. This makes that unnecessary. Perfect for those who travel with their clubs and worry about a driver shaft snapping from rough baggage handlers

Bought two, one was defective; remedied fast!
The product arrive quickly and appears well built and sturdy. I am looking forward in trying it out this spring. I purchase two and one of them had a defective threaded pole which prevented the cap from attaching. I submitted a return for defective product and received a replacement before I even returned the defective product to Amazon return center. The new replacement works fine and the old one sent back to mfgr. Overall, things like this happen but the remedy was quick and easy. Thanks!

The plastic head that applies pressure to the to of the clubs is to small in diameter. It needs to be a increased by 30mm..

Golf club protector
When I ordered this the first time unfortunately it had two of the same sized poles but Amazon replaced it right away at no additional cost to me. It comes in four sections that you have to assemble but once they are together the larger version of this seems very sturdy. I have yet to test drive it but will be doing this very soon. As of right now I’m certain that this product will perform as described but will let you know after my trip.

Excellent Seller and Solid Support Arm
Updated my review after working with the seller. Excellent customer service and the rod sent is solid and effective. After going to big box stores and seeing what they are charging for main label support rods, I chose this item.Item arrived and is of better quality than what I’ve seen elsewhere. Impressed with the quality and and durability of this support arm.The trick to make these super effective is to try to keep your travel bag weight down, remove heads from driver, and rubber band the iron heads together. This will allow this support arm to be less extended and all the iron heads to sit under the protector. Pick one of these up before buying anything twice the price.

Kept my clubs intact all the way to Hawaii
This was a great purchase. First of all my pathetic golf bag carrier is 30 years old and was a soft one at that. (I gave up golf for 20 yrs)! The pro at my CC told me no worries that his clubs costs $10,000 and he uses a soft carrier with one of these. That sold me and particularly when 3 were sitting there for other members. I still had my doubts but hoped for the best and after going to and from Hawaii with no issues whatsoever I am sold on how great this product works!

Missing critical piece.
Package arrived without the protective cap that would screw in to top of pole and that protects clubs from damage. All I received were the pile sections and assembly directions. I’ll be returning for reimbursement.

Head fell off
The connection between the tip of the rod and the head was not secure. Head came off on the first use and offered no protection for the golf clubs. Clubs were not damaged but do not trust it os had to throw away after one use.

Broke Unrepairably on First Use
Purchased and utilized on flight with Frontier Airlines. ToVii product arrived unrepairably broken at destination airport. Clubs survived that trip and their return trip without and travel bag support protector/pole. Don’t buy ToVii product.

defective telecopic buttons
After using for only two trips, the middle telescopic button fell inside the pole. I had to use a small tee in the hole to support the extension.flimsy aluminum material.

Broke first use!
I bought this after hearing about other travelers whose driver / woods were snapped off in travel bags. I followed the instructions and it worked en route to Ireland for a golf week. When I got home from the trip, both the driver head, three wood and this product were snapped off. Not impressed…although I also blame Delta as I am sure they treat bags like garbage. The simple solution is to just remove the heads!

Broke after 2 trips
The top portion of plastic broke which leads to the to umbrella portion falling off. When I arrived at my destination, it was completely off. When I traveled back home it managed to stay on. I guess some super glue may help remedy the situation, but I’d expect the product to last more than a couple trips.

Product does the job to protect clubs!
The “support rod” goes in your golf club bag and works best when extended above the tallest club in the bag.Make sure your golf club bag with the support rod fits semi-snug in your golf travel bag. You want the support rod taking the baggage abuse and not your clubs! I have flown twice with this product and it worked great both times. For additional protection, I take a bath towel folded in half length-wise and weave itaround my clubs which are standing above the top of my golf bag.

Comes apart every time I use it.
The top umbrella part that creates the protection falls off every time I use it. It needs to screw in or secure to the stick better as it is not secure enough to stay. Will have to super glue it or something to keep it on which keeps it from breaking all the way down.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
If I could have given this no stars that would have been preferable. This product is a POS. It is poorly manufactured. Every plastic piece on the base of each section was too big to fit into the lower sections. I had to take a Dremel to each piece rounding them so that it would fit into the lower sections. One section did not have a stopping tab on it and I had to put a screw in it to act as a stop. I would have returned this, but I needed it for a trip I was taking the next day.Highly recommend the Club Glove Stiff Arm. I have uses this in another bag for over 10 years and when the crown broke (after it being 10 years old), they replaced it for free

Broke after one trip
Worked well for one trip but the top part broke during second trip. The connection point from the poles to the “umbrella” section is plastic and cracked. This could be avoided by having the metal pole section screw directly into the umbrella base. Poorly made but not overly surprised considering the price point.
