Easy to assemble, but not as sturdy as I hoped for!
This was easy to assemble. I am a mom, I did it by myself in like 20 minutes. I don’t like how only 2 bars have the click connections. If you move it, it twists. When it twists it becomes unstable. You have to make sure its straight before using. Which is aggravating because he moves it outside to practice. My 12 yr old loves it. He throws it at the back net to practice catching, and he uses the front for pitching. It is great for practice. I only gave 4 stars because of the twisting. I feel other pieces should have had the click connection… not just 2- in order to be more sturdy.

Poor craftsmanship – seam stitching ripped on day 1.
The assembly is easy but it’s not that sturdy/straight, although can sort of bend and manipulate it to make sure the base pieces are pretty straight. The main gripe is the seam where the picture/target surface attaches to hooks ripped right after I set the the thing up. Definitely could be made better. It’s a neat product and the switch hitter functionality is awesome. Maybe I just got a dud… which is still on the manufacturer — have some better quality control on your production line…

Got for young kids to help practice at home
Good quality and definitely works. Kids can practice on own when they don’t have a partner, and it is really helping them(they are young and just learning-but I think it would be great for any level experience). Only complaint would be assembly instructions… a few pictures, that some were a little unclear for. No explanations. Like the ribbon for target area… spent a lot of time counting squares and re-adjusting because nothing to show exact placement. Not hard- but time consuming and annoying! Also, definitely easier to have two people for attaching nets and pitcher side to help with pulling/holding etc.

Could be better… maybe a little too cheap!
This is an ok assembly for maybe a younger child. It a child in minors and majors pitching at it. It’s pretty cheaply made and I will be surprised if it lasts the season… probably should’ve spend a little more for something more durable. Am I disappointed? A little but as always, you get what you pay for…

Broke During Assembly
After a bit of research I decided to spend a little more and buy this pitchback/rebounder because it’s features make it a more versatile training tool. During assembly, the welds broke on the positioning bracket. I personally have the skill/knowledge to repair this vs. going through the replacement process and only to up with the same issue. I also plan on reaching out to Franklin so that they might address this quality issue.

Rusted Snaps, broke within 15 minutes
My boys were super disappointed when the product came with rusted snaps. I still put it together and figured it would last at least a couples weeks, but the snap came out of the fabric in the first 15 minutes!Returning for a refund.

Not bad
We’ve had this now for a few months. We originally bought it for my son to practice pitching. It’s okay for lightweight stuff and playing around, but the plastic clips that keep the canvas on the frame kept breaking. We can’t use the pitching side anymore, but we do use the other side now for my sons’ to practice ground balls by themselves.

Ok for light duty use.
This pitching net is priced mid range. Assembly of the bungee over the tube frame is tedious but straightforward. Once assembled it would be difficult to disassemble for transport. In use, the frame will twist and must be weighted-down, else it will move when the ball strikes it. Once it is set up, it works fine and will be fully functional. The bungees are clipped with a light duty band and will fall apart. The loss of a few bungees does not affect performance. Overall, it works well for occasional use, but not for everyday with out the mentioned minor modifications.

Great but bungees are breaking!

Great for my Little Leaguer
My son loves it, great strike zone, sturdy construction, and easy assembly. It’s definitely a great investment, my son has gotten a lot better at finding the strike zone since he started using it. Highly recommended!

Great set up for t-ball/ Coach pitch- BUT doesn’t last
It’s good for younger kids, like maybe up to 8yo …. any older, it’s too small. Also, it doesn’t last long. Purchased for Christmas, kept in storage when it wasn’t being used, and after only a few times of being used, the net on the backside, loses tension. NOT TO MENTION, no matter which way its put together (it was done several times/ways) it would NOT balance out on a hard surface. It wobbles & leans to 1 side. In the yard, it’s a little more stable with the grass under it. All in all, it’s an ok product, if you’re OK with mediocre products!

Not sure this will last.
Buttons were not working on the switch hitting target. I couldn’t separate one of them for fear of tearing the material. I am not sure how I can get just the switch hitting target replaced.

Too much money
This product was alright but not worth the money. The legs are very bendable and it was difficult for me to figure out how to put it together. The stakes it comes with bent when I put them in the ground and every time the wind blows it gets blown over. Not worth the money but it does the job when it’s up. You can also switch the batter from left to right which is nice and the other side you throw balls and they bounce back to you.

Cheap item
The item seams to be cheap quality, it doesn’t not stand straight up and offer moves from the impact. Also the item was used and damaged. It does the job and of course I didn’t see the damage until I halfway out it together.

Cheap
While I knew this wasn’t going to be high quality I did expect it to be a little better. We got this on Saturday 4/29, never left the living room and already the paint is chipping off due to the poor quality and is already misshaped. The “Y” pieces on each side have poor welds. When trying to straighten back out you can hear the paint cracking and can tell the welds will probably snap any day now so we are just leaving it as is in The mis-shaped form cause I don’t want to deal with taking it apart sending it back then repeating it.

It’s a good starter device to practice pitching
The pitching target is much smaller than a real strike zone – so being accurate with this target is great practice (if you can pitch it into this target, you can likely be accurate in a real strike zone). While this target comes with spikes to keep it in the ground, the spikes weren’t enough to keep it from moving. We had to add additional spikes to keep it sturdy. Also, I’d recommend taking it into shade (or indoors) after each use. The plastic parts and the material are damaged easily from the sun & other elements. This is not a problem with the device, just a recommendation if you’d like it to last longer.

Broke right after setting it up
The assembly was difficult as it was hard to stretch the net out while attaching it to the frame with the wraps. It hurts your fingers while doing it, and then once I got it set up the metal snapped from the tension. It took me awhile to put together and now I have to take the additional time to disassemble and return. It looks like a nice net if remains sturdy enough.

Good value for the price
I honestly did not think this rebounder net was going to work well but it actually does. The target with the hole is a little on the small side but the whole thing is made pretty well and fairly simple to assemble. I had to duct tape the joints together to keep it from being flimsy and that seemed to really help. Other than that I would recommend for kids. My kids are 5 and 8 years old.

Fun for little league players (5-10 years old)
The assembly was pretty straightforward and both of my kids have been having fun with the pitch back and the target. We use the target as a first/second baseman for fielding drills and it gives us an extra “player” in the yard. Cannot speak to the durability since we just got it about a week ago but I think older kids would probably want something more sturdy. That said, it’s versatile, fun, and a good value. Would recommend.

No very stable
The pins that hold the moveable legs in place are not very good. If you kid throws hard, the jolt from the rebound often pops the pins out. Very frustrating. However, you get what you pay for. So this is a good option for a cheep rebounder that one can leave outside in the weather.

The material is already separating near the ball exit. My grandson loves it so that is why I am keeping and not returning but I would not buy again.

Garbage
Zero stars if possible!!!!Not only was this product not as advertised , the assembly was a pain due to the fact that not all the poles have the hole and spring insert. The net itself collapses the weak frame and it never sits right. It’s constantly twisted and the rebound throws the ball right into the ground. I would never buy this product again and I advise anyone looking for a rebound net for their child to Avoid this product at all costs!!

Junk
This is cheaply made and the cords broke within the first use of my 10 year old throwing the ball at it. Very disappointing. Now I have to take it completely apart, put it back in the box, and bring it back to FedEx.

good for kids
I ordered this for my son. The first one didn’t have all the parts to it. However the sent me a replacement the next day!! We have issues with the screen staying on and not falling to the side everytime he hits it but over all its good for practice.
Kevin Murray –
Good value for the price
My assembly instructions were not labeled correctly by each piece of metal, but you can easily put this together by looking at the picture on the box in 15 minutes. The rebounder is the same design that’s worked well forever… the pitch trainer does a good job of stopping the balls when you hit the target and dropping them in the net. Only inconvenience is the pitch trainer doesn’t have many hooks in it, so it has a tendency to creep to the center and you have to go spread it back out after so many pitches. It’s a good value for the money and works as intended. I bought here because it was the best price I found on one of these and I’m not disappointed.

Cmon
Could have used a little bit more guidance on where to put the hooks. Could have used a little bit more sturdy nothing. Other than that I hope the poles hold up if the baseball hits the poles too many times I believe they will be bent quite easily. Possibly a thicker metal next time. I would also sell an option of a double sandbag weighted bottom removable instead of pegs. Sometimes I can only get onto the tennis court to throw and it just knocks it over

Stakes need to be stronger
The stacks we not as strong as I would like. The net works great but it bounces around once a ball in thrown a couple of times.
Mr smiggles –
Poorly designed
The bars that slide into each other come apart when you move it , the net was difficult to attach , and unless your going to glue it in place it falls apart very easily

Cheap Chinese crap. Fabric ripped during assembly. Shame on Franklin for selling out Americans.
Amazon continues to sell out Americans. Companies like Franklin Sports are complicit in this crime of selling out Americans.American companies need to bring manufacturing home to the USA to provide quality products for American youth and adults. This piece of cheap, Chinese crap ripped during assembly. Never even got the Franklin Sports Pitching Target out of the garage. Construction this weak ripped during assembly. How is construction this weak supposed to hold up as a pitching target? Franklin Sports, Amazon, and the Chinese all know they are ripping off American families.1. The Chinese have been stealing and cheating Americans for way too long. Time to cut the Chinese off. Time to cut off Franklin Sports too. Time to find ways to cut off and punish companies like Franklin and Amazon for selling out Americans.2. The Chinese have been stating loudly and clearly that war is coming with America. Only a fool would ignore the Chinese telling us clearly that war is coming. Stop doing business with China now. Anyone who doesn’t realize that the Chinese are gearing up for war right now is an ignorant fool. Buy Made In USA and find ways to support Americans.3. We all see the supply chain issues now. We know we need to bring all manufacturing home. Very soon we are going to find ourselves in need of relying upon our American manufacturing base to make war-time survival products, and military support products. We wish this wasn’t true, but it is true, and the Chinese are the most powerful enemy that we have ever faced. America could be defeated by the Chinese. Our American manufacturing base needs to be rebuilt ASAP. Companies like Franklin need to be a part of that effort… or else we need to all learn to speak Mandarin and answer to communist Chinese human garbage.

A bit flimsy
Let me start by saying this isn’t a terrible product. My main complaint comes with the sturdiness of the product. The metal tubes are very thin and easy to bend. The product flexes occasionally and is just a bit frustrating. The assembly was easy enough, but the bungees don’t hold the pitcher / throw back in place very well. Need to adjust it every so often.Again, not terrible for the money, but not a very strong product.

Flimsy construction
This was a bit underwhelming and I’ll return it. The frame flexes and twists when hit with a pitch. Smaller size than expected, since I didn’t check the dimensions. Using the ground stakes is a must.

Neat but not great
Kind of a pain to put together. Doesn’t sit very square after assembly unless you force it to be. Not durable, frame dents easily. My son is only 10u pitching and hit the the frame, you can see from the pics it isn’t going to last much longer. The ball collector sucks, pops the ball back out rather than feeding down to the bag. Only redeeming quality is that the bounce back side works well. Otherwise this might be ok for someone 8u and under at best.

Wish it was better
This was one of the Christmas presents we got my step son last year. He loves baseball and could play it all the time. This was not easy to put together, but I’ve put quite a few together in recent years so I was ok. Unfortunately we didn’t have it two months and the band pieces holding the net started popping off. He can still use it but the quality just isn’t very good.
