Does the job
Not certain on its accuracy but it seems close enough. It’s best used indoors because it will pick up trees blowing/birds.

Great For Disc Golf
I’m using this to measure the speed of my disc golf throws, and it works great. It works behind a catch net pointing at me, or behind and slightly offset to where my arm releases the disc, pointing at the net. I mount it on a tripod to get it to the correct height, and because the display is slanted the entire unit needs to be angled forward so it’s perpendicular to the release point. The display is difficult to read in direct sunlight, but the voice is loud enough to hear from 15’ away even with lots of traffic noise, so it was not an issue for me. The numbers are easy to read in the shade, or when the sun is not reflecting off the display surface.

Works but accuracy is low
Bought this to record velo for my son’s arm care program. The readings seemed to very a lot so I compared it to the radar they have in the facility (Stalker 2). It was 4mph higher than what the Stalker recorded. Ended up buying the Smart Coach Pocket Radar and sence I was beyond the return period, ran the two side by side. This radar is +/- 4mph consistently. Rarely did the two match. I also experimented with positions and nothing really helped. If you just want a cheap option to get a general idea, then this will do but know your readings are +/- 4mph.

Not very accurate
Materials are flimsy. Good features like the audio announcement of the speed. But the biggest minus is the accuracy. It was giving me readings of 5-10 mph lower.

Takes a beating
Sometimes the kids have errant throws, sometimes they hit things. Sometimes they hit things like radar guns. This one took a direct hit at 60 and is still plugging along.

Great for beginner pitchers.
My grandson requested this for end of school year gift. He loves it and uses it almost daily.! Not sure how accurate, or how long it will last, but a 10 yo pitcher is loving it.

Don’t Buy It
DO NOT BUY IT- this is not accurate and it stopped working after 5 minutes of use. Because it was a gift and went behind the 30days return policy – we now have a paper weight.

Novelty item at best.
I followed the assembly instructions as well as the placement recommendations. This device just does not work.
