The new Tour Flight Dimple Pattern unlocks the next level of aerodynamics while promoting maximum carry distances and a steep angle of descent for extra stopping power, especially on long irons.
TOUR CONTROL & COMPLETE PERFORMANCE
TP5 is our softest and highest spinning Tour ball, with enhanced stopping power inside 100 yards. Fueled by a soft cast urethane cover, its increased greenside spin provides control and precision where it matters most: Closest to the pin.
<img alt=”Soft cast” src=”https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/aplus-media-library-service-media/09b57f9f-a769-4450-9448-9bbc64dbe989.__CR14,0,1200,900_PT0_SX800_V1___.jpg”/>

A larger and more reactive core is the centerpiece of the new TP5. It is designed to store and release energy more efficiently, delivering a spring-like effect that results in faster ball speeds and increased distance compared to its predecessor.
THE PATH TO DISTANCE
The path to distance has evolved with the all-new TP5. In 2017, a movement began with the optimal spin and launch conditions provided by our 5-layer construction. Then we increased ball speed with the HFM Speed Layer and now we’ve added advanced aerodynamics with the Tour Flight Dimple Pattern.

Excellent golf balls from the responsible seller.
Purchased excellent golf balls for a great price. My favorite Taylormade golf balls. I liked how seller runs his shop at Amazon store. Amazon should have more sellers like this shop owner. The shop owner answered right away with my inquiry, located my package, provided updates until I receive the package.

Great Ball if you’re willing to spend the $
All around solid ball, especially if you need to control spin from high swing speed

Coolest looking ball
A bit expensive, especially for a guy who likes to share his balls with the woods and ponds. Looks awesome and I feel great using them.

Don’t last
I bought these because they register better in my launch monitor/golf simulator. The only problems is that they do not hold up very long. I’m used to playing Titleist pro V1’s, and normally I can hit one several times over again before damage is noticeable. These TP5’s seem to shred after a few wedge shots s for the price per box, I’d expect them to last more than 1 virtual round of golf
PatrickPatrick –
Box arrived like my golf game.
I enjoy using this brand of golf balls for my golf game. Almost exclusively use this type of brand. I’m very disappointed the way this box arrived. I might not continue to use Amazon/Taylor Made going forward.

First ball I didn’t lose in a round – great performance, spin & distance from a firm ball
I know it’s a silly milestone, but for a medium-high handicapper like me who have lost 15-24 balls on many rounds it was a pretty awesome achievement. The ball feels quite a bit harder/firmer than the TP5, it still feels good off my Scotty Cameron but a little “clicky”, which I personally don’t mind. I went with the yellow ball because of my ball losing past, these are quite easy to see, even among yellow range balls because they are so bright. They generate a ton of distance with all my clubs and a lot of spin off irons to hold greens. Felt great off the driver and hybrids off tees and had a piercing long flighted baby draws. The only thing for me was that they added 10 yards to all my clubs vs. Titleist AVX 2019 which I was trying out and liked. But this is just better perfomance. I think this is pretty close to Pro V1x which is also about ideal for me performance wise. TP5 and ProV1 feels a little softer which some like, but gives up some performance for me. For chipping it gets awesome spin and I can get it close to the hole on regular chips from missed greens because the spin helps it stop faster. I’m not afraid to put some spin on this ball hitting with a little more swing speed on chips and flight it a little closer to the hole. Played one my best rounds with this ball, will keep them in the bag for now 🙂

Best premium ball on the market
I’ve been playing premium balls for the first time this season. I’ve worked through Pro V1, AVX, Chromesoft, Vice Pros – you name it. The TP5 just hits different. It spins great for me, feels so good off of my irons, and has got so much zip off of my woods. When I hit my 3 wood off the deck, it just seems to find a new gear about 20 yards down the fairway. It’s something special. I gave overall 5 stars because of performance and feel. Value for money won’t ever be a 5 star because it’s a premium ball. You’re not buying these for value. Same for durability. The urethane covers aren’t as durable as ionomer covers. They’re not meant to be. They’re meant to be softer and more responsive to your spin. And I most certainly can hit them into the woods just as easily as any Pinnacle or Top Flight. LOL. I cringe a bit every time I buy them and curse a lot more when I lose them. BUT, I smile a whole lot more on the golf course when I hit them.

Best balls on the market
If you like balls with workability and spin, these are for you. These are premium high performance golf balls. Better than Pro V1x on distance, spin and trajectory. Best balls you can buy for low handicappers

Do you need them?
Really, if you are a sub-8 handicap fine tuning your short game, spend the money. Otherwise, the ball won’t change your crappy swing. Premium balls are rarely forgiving enough for the average golfer. The soft cover creates more spin hence may worsen your full swing shots.

Great ball.
Great ball that I wanted to try out. Love it. But at 49.00 per dozen as a recreational golfer if I’m near water or heavy brush I use a water ball.

Flight and Control
These balls play soft and are easy to control. By far my fav balls now,

Great ball. One of the best. BUT $$$$$
This ball plays like a $4 ball should. If you are a golfer that loses a half dozen balls a round- this ball my prove too costly. But if you are a mid to low handicapper there is no doubt a better ball is worth the investment. Personally, after I’ve spent $1000 bucks on my clubs, I refuse to short myself with cheap balls. And make no mistake. It’s QUALITY you pay for with a premium ball like this. And the TP5x is one of the best 2 or 3 balls on the market.

FISHY
I read some reviews about these regarding fake balls or strange packaging and I ignored it and I have to say the balls are authentic and flawless however the sleeves were in different directions unusual and I received #’s 1-2-3-5 WEIRD IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY! I’m not teeing up the box I’m teeing up the ball and they are STRAIGHT

Brother Loves these
My older brother will not play with anything else. Perfect Christmas gift for him since they are not super cheap, but know for sure they will be used. Honestly, when I play with them I do see a difference, but I do not play all the time like he does. So if he says they are great and will not use anything else then I take his word since he golfs almost every day.

Top Ball
Nothing performs like this ball; distance, spin, it has it all.If you haven’t played it…give it a shot. They just reduced the compression for a softer feel!!!
Steven Branch –
Bang!!!
My playing group keeps marveling at how far these balls go. I keep telling them it’s not the ball, it’s me!!! Seriously, these balls fly and have added about 10-15 yards to my tee and approach shots.

A better golf ball
I purchased the TP5 golf ball. I am a senior and my swing speed is not what it use to be. This ball has been ideal for my golf game. It gives me good distance, control around the greens and it is durable.

Great ball
Not sure what “warmth” or “thickness” have to do with golf balls, but I love these. Picking them up on prime day was even better! Super easy to pick up in the air and spot on the ground. One thing I will note though is that these “pix” are the 2019 version, not the 2020 so it doesn’t help as much for putting alignment. Still a great buy.

Love TP5, Wallet Does Not
Ball is on point! Excellent spin, distance, feel. However, can’t justify the cost for the amount of golf I play. Tour Response is the perfect alternative ball in place of TP5. Love it, but at times I’ll indulge myself with a box of TP5’s.

Pretty Good
Good performance. But not quite like a certain competitor’s ball. I wanted to try it. But won’t switch.

Gotta be a really good golfer to tell this difference
I’m sure they are very good for golfers that know what they are doing. But unless you are a sub 5 handicap …. these are not the balls for you. If you can hit a prov1 well… these feel slightly harder but spin like crazy. Very good. Very…. advanced and not so forgiving
Paul W. Myers –
Compression Surprise
I’m a big TaylorMade fan. However, I was a bit disappointed with this ball. I was not getting the distance from the ball that I could get from others. After some study, I discovered that this ball has a slightly higher compression, at 85, than I was expecting. The regular, non-graphic, TaylorMade balls are the more standard 80 compression. I just don’t have the swing speed to take advantage of that higher compression. The manufacturer should very, very clearly print the compression on the ball itself….no more surprises.

Excellent

Bought from warehouse
Two sleeves were used. I thought I got a good deal on the warehouse but unfortunately will be sent back. 1/2 the balls were used. I’ve had good luck with the warehouse lately but not today

Raises the bar for graphics on golf balls!
I always liked TruVis balls, but felt like they didn’t help with anything other than seeing spin on the ball. The first generation of Pix didn’t excite me because it looked like an after thought. These balls are great! The Pix on the ball are sleek and are a cool graphic, and the design for helping aim the ball is fantastic! Being given a margin either side helps me with lining up the putt! I bought 4 boxes, they are a little pricey, but definitely a great ball from my first impressions on the practice green.I removed 1 Star. These balls are gorgeous, but the graphics are not exactly lined up on the ball- yes you can see how it’s rolling, but the graphics could become a distraction. Definitely hurts more losing these than other balls. If they had a multi pack deal- would be more tolerable, but I guess they have to pay for Rickie’s contract.

Both the TaylorMade tp5 and tp5x are top of the line golf balls. Definitely on par with Titleist pro v 1

ProV1 killer
Played prov1 forever then switched to vice after a shoulder injury and I didn’t feel right spending so much for the prov1. The vice were okay, but these are fantastic. Worth all the cash you pay for them. Best ball I’ve used. I would dare to say better than the ProV1 too.

Can take a beating
I don’t game with these, but needed something for my SkyTrak simulator to get more accurate spin numbers and not have to replace balls every month due to logos wearing off. These are perfect for that. Simulator always picks up the hits and spin numbers are pretty close to what they should be. Also after a month of hitting them 200-300 times a day on average the logos on them still look brand new.

Better the Pro V1’s
Usually play pro v1’s or mizuno tour x. These have better feel and control than the pro v1’s. Seemed to have a little less spin than the mizuno tour x. Great ball though. Really enjoy them and would recommend. I’m a 9 handicap.

Fetchin’ Balls
My husband likes them. I’d like them better if he didn’t lose them but I’m cheap and think it’s silly to play with little expensive balls. But for a golfer, I guess they do their job considering it’s his favorite ones. 🤷🏼♀️

Good balls for top spin
Since I have top spin on my drives, this ball gets extra distance for me. I also don’t have to write on the ball since they’re distinguishable.

Best Ball on the Market
TP5x for me are the most dominant golf ball on the market. Longer distances, truer ball flight, and I absolutely love the touch and spin I’m able to generate with my wedges around the green. The Hi-Vis-Yellow is great both optically for ball striking and being easily able to find.

Good balls. Too Pricey
Most golfers do NOT need a ball that spins. It may help you score on the green, but hurts you off the tee. These are great balls. Probably the longest of all the ‘premium’ balls, but if you have a very high swing speed (over 118) these balls will occasionally go astray if not hit perfect. The only real mark down is value, they are too expensive. Unless you are a very low handicap golfer, stick to something that spins less.

feels great. does exactly what I expect it to do off of the club face.

Only one small flaw
I LOVE the looks of these balls. They hold up great, even against wedge shots. Don’t get chewed up a ton. The only issue I have is the TP5 and arrows that are printed on the ball are not always 100% straight. Not an issue for me because I draw a line over it. But for those that don’t, be weary.

Taylormade TP5x and TP5 are the best!
The picture is after 13 holes of play, no tour ball looks better longer. TP5x bores through the wind and cold weather affects it very little. As a lifelong player, Golf Coach and former Sales Mgr at Golfsmith, this is the all-around best ball. ProV1 is softer around the green, but looks like shit after 3 holes and it’s affected greatly by wind. TP5x will give you higher ball flight and longer carry than TP5, spins a little less, but holds greens well.

Best Ball Period!
Was on my way out the door to golf course today and these were sitting on my front porch. Perfect timing on the delivery.I am an 8.0 handicap and love these golf balls. They go a mile with the driver and 3 wood but will stop on a dime and back up with an iron shot on the par 3’s.I am a little hesitant to endorse them as they are still somewhat of a secret and I don’t want the price to go up.The graphics are a nice touch. It will take a couple of rounds to get used to the added distance You won’t go wrong with these balls.

Just like tp5x but better!
I play TP5X white balls regularly for their spin controll, particularly the spin control in the wind. I draw a putting line on all of my golf balls. I have tried to hit other balls with “pix” designs, such as the soccer ball pattern look, and didnt like looking down at that.I thought I would give these a try. I found that I am hitting them cleaner. Maybe its me, but the pix give me a focal point helping me keep my head down. The marks on the ball create a clear path when putting and help me line the ball up cleaner.Playing in a pro-am Monday and shipping is delayed. I will be going to the local sports store to find them.
