I can’t tell a difference between these and the ProV1s. I have played golf for 30 years and am a single handicap. Golf is all about feel and this ball provides exactly that!!

Chicken or the Egg
You may be wondering by the title of my review “what is this guy talking about” and you’ll have that thought through most of it I’m sure. I’m not a great golfer, the fact that I even buy new golf balls as opposed to refurbished ones is comical in itself. But if you aren’t aware a pandemic and quarantines hit heavy last year and retail therapy is an AMAZING coping mechanism. I bought about 7 cases. I still have about 5. I can’t say for sure if these balls are the main reason my game improved so much this year but it for certain is a factor. I’m playing some of the best golf of my life with these and wish I found them sooner. Great style, hits true. I will continue to use these moving forward and for golfers who don’t have a real preference when buying balls I would put these up against pro V1 any day. Don’t buy the label buy the ball.

Fairway hunter
I’m a very average golfer (high 80’s low 90’s) so I really can’t tell too much of a difference between balls and the “feel”. What I do know, is that I can lose a whole 12 pack of any other ball (even ProV) but for some reason I absolutely never lose these balls. Constantly hitting the fair way or close to it. I’ve made a whole sleeve of these balls last me an 18. That I notice, and can appreciate. 100% notice the difference from these, and my brother who also has high club swing does too.

Good golfball, great value
Compare to my Bridgestone X, Vice Pro Plus was a half club short in my irons. Once I figured it out, I just played accordingly. Also, they felt firmer on the irons and putter than my Bridgestone. Overall, great value for the money.

I like these better than tour balls
First of all im a 2 handicap. These balls test 98% the same as Prov1s if you havent done the research. I actually like these better. They have less side spin which means you will hit the ball straighter. They also have much more controllable spin around the greens. Cant beat these for the money, especially if you buy direct from vice.

Nice Ball
Really easy to see and they go a mile. Like them more than the regular pros. Surprisingly durable as i havent noticed any wear issues. Its ashame you have to buy so many to get a reasonable price it would be a no brainer if you could get 1 box for the bulk price.

Awesome for distance and chipping especially. The spin around the greens is so nice. I hit my 7 iron around 180 and this ball stops dead when you get a little loft on it.

Great golf ball for the price
These are 4 piece balls that play like Pro V1 but cheaper. They are long and may feel hard if your swing is not fast enough. Try them out for a while and once you get used to them they are spot on.

Great ball! I’ve been hitting it straighter than I normally do with my driver and irons. The only issue I have is that it scuffs very quickly. I have the green balls and it looses the paint just from contact with the clubs

For some reason I was hitting these balls off the Tee about 20 yds shorter than pro v1s. Possibly just me sucking at golf but it was a consistent pattern for me. Otherwise they were great with my irons. I probably won’t buy again. Just wanted to try them out. They were neat though.

Great performing ball at a decent price.
Tested this ball against all of the big named balls on Trackman and on the course. I saw basically the same numbers, and sometimes even better than balls that cost a good bit more. The ball held up well, shot after shot, with my new wedges. In short, this ball is durable, fly’s far, and gets plenty of spin around the greens – at a better cost than most premium balls.

Paint flakes off in two or three holes
The balls play well but normal shots seem to cause the paint to flake off. It happens on the yellow/green balls and the red/orange balls. I would have thought the top of the line would be more durable than a few holes.

From the tee they don’t carry as far as my prov1’s but they do have a lot of spin on them but so do the prov1’s and prov1x’s! But if your looking for a cheap ball that doesn’t carry as far off the tee but has a ton of spin around the greens then these balls are for you!

Felt great to hit
I liked how the ball felt as I whacked it. Didn’t feel like I was hitting a rock, but the felt cushioned well to where I could get good distance off the hit. Will definitely look into getting more down the line.

Received a mixture of golf balls not all were Vice
I was surprised to find a Strata, Vice Tour, and Vice Pro with a lobster decal on it in the balls I purchased. I haven’t opened the other sleeves yet. When I order something I really think I should receive what I ordered.

Balls cut and split after just a few shots
These are great balls from a feel, spin and distance perspective, but the durability is awful. Not worth the slight savings over Titleist if you can’t use them for more than 9 holes!

the BEST DTC ball on the market!
I tried the previous version of the Vice Pro and Pro Plus and really like the balls, but they had a durability issue…literally scuffing the cover after one shot sometimes. I’ve been playing this new and improved (2020) version for over a year now and this is the best direct to consumer ball out there.

Listing is misleading
The description lists this as “NEON LIME” and the pictures are even on the neon lime balls. After waiting for the stocking and shipping I received white. large waste of time and money. I will be returning these.

After ONE hole play, paint chipped. Not made in Germany, they are cheap made in Taiwan!
Terrible coating, paint chipped only play one hole, these balls are not made in Germany, they are made in Taiwan, terrible quality. Too bad I cannot return.

Best golf ball for the best price. I used to play Pro V1. I hit longer and more accurately with my Vice Pro. I also have much better spin on my chip shots, I would highlty recommend these golf balls.Robert

I really like these vice balls. I used to use all ProV1, these play just as well for me for a fraction of the price! I’m around a 12 handicap and these compliment my game well. Will buy again!

Great… but the durability
They perform well. I’m a bogey golfer with the occasional par or birdie. My swing speed is about 117-120 with mid irons. Like these balls a lot , but they do scuff very easily. If you don’t mind the scratches and are looking for a good golf ball, might give these a chance.

These hold up exceptionally well including bunker shots! They also feel good off the putter face. Less marketing than prov1’s and that’s the only difference I have noticed in playability.

Great for distance and control
I’ve tried a lot of different golf balls and these are just great. Plays just as good as the best ball out there. My swing speed is about 105mph and I’ve averaged about 270-280 off the tee. Much better than cheap golf balls and less expensive than the big name brands. I used one through 25 holes and there were no considerable signs of wear.

I will only be playing vice pro plus this year
After spending hours and hours on my simulator dialing in my swing I decided to look at different golf balls, I always get free pro v1 from wholesalers so I never played anything different I tried chromesoft tp5x and prov1 and the vice pro and pro plus, for me the pro and pro plus are pretty similar I just get a little more feedback from the head with the pro plus which is what vice says will happen. But all in all I put a thousand shots with one of each golf ball, the tp5x shredded, prov1 was pretty beat up chromesoft and vice pro and pro plus were by far the best looking chromesoft had a few marks on them but were otherwise were in fairly good condition. As for performance it was all about 5 yards in difference between the chromesoft and the pro plus the top 3 in the pro prov1 and pro plus was about 1.5 yards. The chromesoft and the pro plus definitely gave me the best dispersion both of them as well as the prov1 and tp5x had great feel off the club face the vice pro balls are a little soft for my swing speed so I don’t get a ton of response off the long clubs but feel a little clunky off of my wedges. My biggest gripe with the pro plus is they don’t have them available in the drip pattern which to me look awesome. Overall looking at it vice gives you a pretty good discount to $28 a box if you buy 5 boxes but even for $35 for 12 balls is about 15-20 dollars cheaper than the rest of them and you still get the same performance is what is making me switch.

I’m a Pro V1 player. These are close.
I’ve played Pro V1’s for the last few years. I LOVE them. They are my go to ball. I could always find the brand new Practice Pro V1’s for $35. (Not the refurbished balls, but the ones with a cosmetic defect). I don’t enjoy paying $50+ for regular new Pro V1’s. That’s a bit ridiculous in my opinion, regardless of your financial position.When the Practice Pro V1’s became almost impossible to find, I tried the Vice Pro and the Vice Pro Plus balls.Funny, they compare the Vice Pro to the Pro V1 and the Pro Plus to the Pro V1x. I prefer the Pro V1, but also prefer the Vice Pro Plus over the Vice Pro. Hmmmmm…..isn’t that backwards?Anyway, Vice makes a great ball. I would say 95% of what the Pro V1 is, at 70% the cost.I’m not positive on distance comparison. I would say compared to the Pro V1, the Vice is VERY similar. Not enough to make me feel any different.The feel and spin around the greens is very comparable, with the Pro V1 getting the nod for spin, and stopping ability. The Pro Plus still spins back a few feet. Maybe a foot or two less. Not enough that you can’t just adjust your shot for it.I’ve gone through about 5 dozen Vice balls now, interspersed with playing Pro V1’s. I can confidently say that Vice makes a great, consistent ball. If the balls were free, I’d pick the Pro V1. But the Vice is an absolutely great ball.

Good fit for my swing. Which is surprising.
I found a Vice Pro Plus on the course one day and hit it off the tee. It felt unusually great off the club face and it seemed to go 10-15 yards farther than my current choices – various Calloway and Titleist soft versions. I continued to play with the Vice the rest of the round and then quickly bought a dozen. I’m usually more careful about changing balls, but this ball felt so different and flew noticeably farther.As a golfer in my mid-70s my driver distance was in the 200 yard range. No wind. Flat fairway. This expensive ball is meant for much higher swing speeds, but I am certain I hit it 10-15 yards farther than any other ball I’ve played. Plus, I feel it off the club face. It’s a good feeling to feel the ball “rocketing” off the club face with my slower swing speed. I was actually surprised to see the Vice was USGA conforming. I had my doubts!Regarding trusting this review, I play 140 times a year, mostly on the same course. I know where my drives end up. And with this ball, they are out 10-15 yards more than the many others I’ve tried. And the feel of the ball off the club face is the icing on the cake. I’m definitely compressing it, even though it is not sold as a “soft” ball. It’s Vice’s attempt to reach the Pro-V crowd, best I can tell.The short game feel and the ability to make it curve left and right is excellent. But mainly, why I’ve stuck with this ball for months is the way it feels off the club face and the certain gained distance. My only complaint is the paint and color. I like yellow balls and their neon green is close to yellow. The paint on the Vice tends to come off early, and it nicks a bit easier than some. Vice would be better served to improve the paint process and then go a brilliant yellow ball (such as Calloway), which is much easier to see, and lasts longer between replacement.But. I will continue to play this ball. I’ll pay more than I like to pay. I’ll suffer the green color (green on grass?) or switch to white. I hope they never change the formula, because while they were attempting to make a ball for big hitters, they bumped into a ball for me.

What’s good and what’s not so good about this ball
In Florida I can see this ball easily. I like the way it performs for me on the drives, chipping and putting. The only drawback is the outside of the ball chips easily. I have had several boxes and they all chip on the outside so Im moving to another brand

I used to used Titleist true feel balls. This is first time ever purchased and using vice. Hand feel during impact feels very soft and durability of the balls are amazing compared to the other brands.I am switching my golf ball selection to vice from now on

Pretty decent ball
I liked playing this ball. I haven’t really had “a ball” I use but these felt solid, flew straight and had good distance. Spin was a little slow compared to the prov1s I have been using but these are half the price. Good ball but the shell does break down after three or four holes turning it into a practice ball

Not my type…
Great ball at a good price through Amazon!!! The Vice Pro Plus is a 4 piece high compression Urethane covered ball. Nice quality, good color and does not scuff easily.Played a couple rounds with the Vice Pro Plus, and distance, trajectory and accuracy is all there. However, I did not care for the “feel” off irons or woods, it was a firm but with very dull thud. I normally play a Srixon Z Star XV and the feel is firm with a nice heavy click which I prefer.The Vice Pro Plus box and sleeves has got some nice graphic designs which I appreciate…May try these out again but for now they’ve been put away for a bit.

Good ball with harder feel
Really like these for high-vis balls. They have a bit of a harder feel which can be great depending on your preference. I’ve used for indoor net hitting and these can take hundreds of swings. Price is right too.

Great value considering to me they play and feel just like the PRO V1X. Long and straight off the tee but checks up nice around the greens. The paint does scuff up a little on aggressive wedge shots but nothing that affects playability.
