Move ball around each swing to last longer
Does as it says but doesn’t last long before tearing. But could be my heavy fat swings. Better than tearing up my yard. Expected it to last longer before getting tore up. Still usable but have to move ball around.

Felt breaks down
The product works great, but if you have a higher swing speed and a steep path, the felt breaks down quickly. Two to three long range sessions can tear up the surface.
Amazon Customer –
Thin surface
First, the marking started to break down and flake on the first day: won’t last long at all. Second, the surface is very thin. Usual mats have some thickness to their artificial turf, which gives you some cushioning when hitting. The velvet on these mats is very thin on a hard rubber base. It does show you the swing path as advertised, but you have to hit it perfectly shallow, or your club will bounce and you’ll feel it in your elbows. Ouch!!!

Sturdy and easy to hit off of
The mat under the hitting surface is heavy and does move but not enough to make this product annoying. Clearly shows you the swing path and if you are hitting fat/thin. A good purchase

Golf Feedback mat
The mat works well in showing your swing path and if you are hitting before the ball; however, the lines are painted on and started wearing off after just a few swings.

Not for real golfers
My husband wanted this, but took one swing and the green part came loose from the base. not for real golfers or anyone who is powerful.

Great product
This golf mat is really sturdy! I definitely recommend buying it

Does what it says
So the mat does what it says it leaves behind a divot mark where you strike it. However it’s very durable. It’s advertised something up to 1000 swings if I’m not mistaken. I don’t believe I even got to 200 before it started ripping. I would probably recommend the 2.0 version which I believe allows the velvet layer to be replaced.

Very well made
Simple but accurate feedback when practicing your swing indoors. Gives immediate feedback so you know where your swing is bottoming, club path, etc. Have been practicing a swing Change this winter didn’t realize I was still coming a little out to in until I bought this mat. Well worth the money, no more drilling in bad movements.

Great product except the markings
This mat is heavy, seems well made (except the markings), and mostly stays in place when using without anchors due to its weight. I’ve taken about 15 swings on it and it has marked my swing through each time which is wonderful. A couple were on target but most were slightly outside in which is what I thought based on my play and my father telling me. I had one swinging with my 7 iron that hit the mat just behind the ball mark which did move the mat about an inch. That swing cracked the markings just behind the ball placement mark. That being said, I wonder how many more hits like that will eventually rip off the markings on top? This is the only problem I see with this product or it would have received 5 stars after about 15 swings of the club.

Decent But Caution
First: don’t take full power swings. Use this to work on your swing at 50-70% power. I don’t mean don’t make a full swing, but don’t go at this like you’re at the range or course. It will degrade much faster.Second: something to take into consideration is that this “raises” the hitting surface above your feet. I’m not sure how I feel about this, but assuming you understand this you can analyze the impact and divot zone more accurately. The “good” contact looked fat to me, but thinking about the amount it raises your club it makes sense.Third: I wouldn’t use it too much. I practiced with this for a bit before I started going to the range this season. It’s early but my findings so far is that I seem to be catching my shots a tad thin. Not bad thin, more like a clip off the ground. I think it helped shake off the fat ones, but I’d practice only a little to help promote hitting a little thinner. I’d worry that too much practice on this would result in developing a less solid strike.I’d always have problems with fat shots when the season started. This has helped thin them out, but real practice should occur on the range.Reasonable cost, can help correct fat shots, but I am not going to rely on it too much. A few warm ups (2-3) per day tops.

Club path matters.
I use this mat with my High School players to give them feedback on swing path and point of impact. The boys golf season in Michigan starts when it is pretty cold out, so sometimes indoor practice with foam balls is necessary. This mat does the talking, so I don’t have to.I’ve tried a couple other products, but this one works the best. It is big enough and leave a very clear image of the club impact point and swing path. It easily clears for the next swing by brushing it with your hand or the sole of a club. This is a great teaching or learning tool.

It’s Velvet
Well like most golfers, I find ball striking challenging. Hit it fat or thin, face open/closed, toe or heel hits are easily identified, verified with this device. However, it is made of velvet and not meant to be used as an ordinary practice mat. It will not stand up to thousands of shot for weeks on end. They say the surface is replaceable but mine is still pretty new so I haven’t looked into it. After each stroke, you have to brush the nap back to “reset” the surface. I found it more difficult to do it with just the club I’m holding. Easier to use your hand if it’s not too challenging to reach the ground. The bottom line is that the device works and the price is about what I expected for this device. If you are inconsistent in getting pure contact striking the ball this could help.

Great value
Great value and works well. You get what you pay for is all I have to say. Spend more you will get a better product. That being said, for how much I will use this product, it works great.

Great concept but
Great product…the concept is there but the materials used are not durable. First couple of swings and the lines started to crack and chip away…the mat is durable, and so is the “grass”…may be better products out there but this will do temporarily

Good but not great
At the beginning it worked great but after maybe 20 swings it started to come up and off the base. This made it very hard to track my swing and the lines also come off really easy.

Works well. Let’s you see exactly where you are mishitting and allows you to make a repeatable change. Seems durable, but I have only had in for a week so only time will tell. I feel it is definitely worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their golf game.

Does what it’s supposed to. Helped my swing a lot, but not that durable
I really like this mat. It does what it’s supposed to. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks. The white painted lines overlayed on the velvet material do start to wear almost immediately. I didn’t have super high hopes for this, based on reviews and price (not that $30 for a piece of velvet tacked to a rubber doormat is a bargain – but respectively), but I can say I’m satisfied with my purchase. So far the green velvet material has held up well after daily use. I was able to correct an out to in swing issue I was encountering and helped me with ball first contact. It hasn’t ripped as it has for some. I personally didn’t have any issue hitting balls off it (balls rolling off may). However, when I do hit balls off of it I do so very sparingly. I try to use clean golf clubs, use it indoors or in a clean area in my yard and I try to simply skim the surface in order to see the shape/orientation/start of the divot I would be creating. So far it’s done exactly what I hoped it would. It has gotten some dirt stains on it that sort of mat the velvet, but I used a little diluted dish soap and it came right out and back to the original appearance. It’s not a perfect product, but I think if you treat it with a little care it should last and help you for some time.

After only a few swings
The mat seems to be well made and durable. The problem that I have, is that the white guide lines have almost completely worn off after only a few swings. They say this should happen between 300-2000 hits. Wrong mine lasted less than 25 swings (hits.) Not very happy with this purchase.

Underwhelmed
I had high hopes for this mat, but it’s just okay. I ripped the suede and tore a quarter sized chunk out of it the first day. The impact area at and in front of the ball dot no longer returns to a solid light color and so it’s impossible to analyze the path shape anymore. I’ve used it twice. On the plus, the weight of the mat is nice, solid yet playable, and it doesn’t go flying when struck. This mat is not horrible, but it’s not good either.

Thicker than expected
This may does exactly what you would expect it to do. Let’s you know if you’re hitting behind the ball, hitting the ball in a straight path or slanted, etc. The only downside is that the mat is thick. So if you practice with it, make sure you elevate yourself as well, otherwise you might get used to hitting balls slightly higher than they would be on the course and start skulling shots.

Make sure you know what you’re buying
This mat is mis-labeled as a hitting mat. It is not intended or durable enough for practice. The instructions warn you to use it to find strike information but use a turf mat for practice. It would be better labeled a training aid.

Doesn’t take long to wear it out.
My husband and son love this. However. After about 2 days of use they learned they had to be pretty gentle with it because the green mat doesn’t tolerate so much use.

Mine has been durable.
My swing path is very inconsistent. Previously I had to play the ball far back in my stance to make solid contact. This mat helped develop a proper hip turn and body angle with the ball in the normal position. It has taken a lot of whacks since I purchased it but so far it has held up well. I have it on a plush rug and the only time it moves is when I come down on it hard like I would take a huge divot if it were grass.Update:I’ve had it for about 10 months now. It is in my bedroom and gets some hits just about every day. The painted white lines are a bit worn but other than that, it’s like new.

Not the same material as the previous model
I would not recommend buying this until they find different material. The previous model’s fabric stood up to several 1000 hits without losing its main purpose – showing where the club is impacting the mat. This model is using different material that is easily friction burned. With less than a hundred hits, it has already burned and made it useless in seeing how the club is impacting the mat.

Is it worth the purchase?
So if I were to tell if it’s actually worth buying. Then I’m not 100% sure if it is a good buy. And mind you I did find it to work. For all the things it’s advertised for. It works extremely well for that. But as you can see from my picture. It doesn’t hold up well for well let’s just say a fat shot. I’m working on my balance on my follow thru. Came in steep and that is the result. I’ve only had since Oct 2021 and maybe used it. For a total of one hour since my purchase. And to Champkey maybe add some type of adhesive and not just rivets. Hope my review helps good luck and hope for more girs in 2022.

Shows the divot path but doesn’t hold up.
I liked that the mat shows the divot path. The felt does not stand up to any miss-hits that would be a fat hot. Even if you have a good divot path, the mat wears down very quickly.

Good at first, but will wear down after some use
I got this for Prime day and have been using it fairly consistently over the last 1.5 weeks. It is already starting to fade and show significant wear on the mat making it hard to see the club path.I do feel like my swing is more consistent now, which is good, so it did what it was supposed to, I just wished it lasted longer.

Great Training Aid
Great product. Shows how well you make contact. Matt is not meant to be used for a lot of swings(due to material). So you will still need a regular artificial turf matt. It is only meant to show you your swing path so you can work on it. Overall great product.

High quality, works great
I didn’t expect this mat to be so sturdy, its very well built, works great, don’t have to adjust it’s position between swings (it remains where you first place it), the ability to see the swing path and contact built into the mat surface is great, and works great, am very pleased with this purchase. Am hitting golf balls directly off the mat sitting on cement pavers into a net. Very useful to see the impact on the mat of each swing, just wipe backwards with the club and ready to swing again!

I probably have around 100-125 swings on this mat. I enjoyed it until it started to fall apart. Got a bubble in it some where around 65-70 swings and today it completely came apart. Might be ok for less than full shots or slower swing speeds.

Not built to last
I didn’t read product reviews before purchasing so shame on me. This thing is more lightweight than expected. It works fine, but after only one use the lines are already starting to wear off. I wish it was a little thicker/heavier. I can see this thing only lasting a couple years. I definitely won’t purchase it again once it breaks.
